>> researchers say strict parenting rules about alcohol use could suppress the teenager's desire to drink. previous studies have shown that alcohol related stimuli can trigger the impulse to drink among people who imbibe regularly. when parents set strict rules for their teenagers before they have had much experience with alcohol, it appeared to curb their impulse to drink, especially among boys. an alarming find for researchers and dartmouth university looked at different foods that used brown rice syrup as a sweetener and found arsenic. researchers say at least one formula sample had six times the legal limit of arsenic. right now, there are no federal laws restricting how much of the carcinogen can be in food.
