most of the major roadways despite the fog. is one problem on northbound 95. shutdown at riverside park way because of a tractor-trailer fire. it may be overturned. it may be awhile before they can clear completely. traffic is being diverted at 543 and then take pulaski highway. we have an accident in essex. another one as you make your way through the glen burnie area. 43.s is 95 at 5 under 4 all traffic is being diverted over to pulaski highway. look how thick the fog is at sandy point. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11.

>> four people are recovering from injuries following a collision on 95 in cecil county. police say this happened shortly before midnight in the southbound lanes along mile- marker 93 in perryville. a passing car struck a vehicle and then kept going. police were able to track down the suspect vehicle. the other driver was also injured but none of the injuries are considered life- threatening. a judge has set a trial date for an abortion doctor. this'll be a test of the new laws that criminalize abortions in cases where the fetus is considered a viable outside the womb. they are charged in the 2010 case of a botched abortion of a new jersey teenager that was 21 weeks pregnant.

the driver of a tractor-trailer that overturned on wednesday faces dwi charges. he is from new jersey and the craft his rig in the southbound lane of 95. the accident shut down 895 and 95 for hours. he is also charged with several other traffic offenses. >> a lot of behind closed doors, in the statehouse as delegates prepare for a case on the controversial issue of same-sex marriage. jennifer franciotti has more on the story. >> the house attached an amendment to the same-sex bill so that if passed it will not take effect until january of 2013. it gives those who want to petition the issue to referendum

more time. republican delegate wade kach made several moves to avoid answering questions about his surprise decision to support the same-sex marriage bill. according to an e-mail, baltimore county democratic delegate john olszewski now intends to vote for the same- sex marriage bill not long after saying he was still on the fence about the issue. the battle over same-sex marriage spilled into the hallways of the house building. a platoon of clergy who are opposed to the bill lobbied hard for its defeat. >> they just wanted to come up today to share with some of the delegates their stand on traditional marriage. >> further complicating this vote is the fact that bill supporter veronica turner is in the hospital for emergency surgery. reporting live, jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> the joint ethics committee has come down hard on ulysses currie for his failure to report

his work as a paid consultant for shoppers food warehouse. the committee is recommending that he be censured, apologized for its actions, and be banned for any leadership positions. they're expected to hear from senator currie before they voted. >> jermaine lewis is being held on $50,000 bail. he was pulled over near hanover pike on thursday morning. an officer saw his 4-year-old son writing in the front seat without a seatbelt. has discovered he was driving on suspended license and he was taken into custody. police say a fire that destroyed a home in brooklyn last december was intentionally set. this is a picture of someone who is a possible suspect. was last seen wearing small

they have managed to upright the tractor-trailer and the fire is out. northbound 95 is shut down and watch for delays prior to that. westbound 100, there is an accident. not a lot in terms of delays elsewhere. 11 minutes in the outer loop northeast side. 10 minutes on 95 south down to 32. closure on northbound 95 at 543. this is 83 at york road. nasa banned from the parkton region -- not so bad in the parkton region. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> a federal agent is dead and another wounded in the case of workplace violence in long beach, california. one agent shot another during an

altercation, would begin. a third agent drew down on the subject and wounded him. no word on what prompted the violence. a short-lived victory for gay marriage proponents in new jersey. the bill pass but not without some heated opposition from conservatives who want to see this sent to voters as a referendum issue. chris christie and has promised to veto the bill. governor christie is defending his position to lower flags at half staff in memory of whitney houston. she will be laid to rest tomorrow. critics say lowering flags should be left to those who wander this state.

more on that story. good morning. >> michigan and arizona are up next in the nominating process. the primary is scheduled for february 28. >> it is exciting to see the resurgence of the auto industry here. >> less than two weeks left before the michigan primary, and this time it is rick santorum who's leading the pack. on the stump in detroit, santorum took a shot at mitt romney for his position on the bailout. >> governor romney supported the bailout of wall street and decided not to support the bailout of detroit. my feeling was that we should not support -- the government should not be involved in bailouts, period. >> polls show the former pennsylvania senator edging out mitt romney in michigan even though it's romney's home state. >> i was born and raised here. i love this state. it seems right here. trees are the right height. >> while campaigning, romney's been playing up his michigan roots, picked up a key

mostly clear tonight and temperatures drop back into the upper 20's and low 30's. everybody is talking about the weekend. we can see low pressure developed in the gulf of mexico. there will be some cold air drifting down from the southern part of canada. some models take its due south and away from us. most of the models take it into the southern part of virginia and then off the mid-atlantic coast. that would give as a mix of snow and rain. there will be some rain mixing in. as the cold air dips in from the south, there will be a narrow band of snow in pennsylvania or maryland. it is difficult to tell where that line will date. into pennsylvania, you may not
