>> family and friends have made more aware michael lost his life. today, friends of michael trulock gathered to remember their classmate and friend. >> was the sweetest guy you would ever meet. he was fun to be around. i cannot believe he is gone. >> it is unbelievable he is gone. the of the day, i was talking to him. it is unbelievable. >> michael trulock died saturday evening when he fell out of a car driven by his stepfather and was struck by another vehicle. >> they were making a left on harford road. he opened the door to vomit. he fell out and got stuck by the car. >> his family said he had been drinking four loco, a high- alcohol drink that made him ill.

of a house fire in anne arundel county. the flames broke out around 3:30 this afternoon along not road in pasadena. the initial call came that people were trapped inside the home. the crews were able to put the fire out in about 20 minutes. no word on what caused the fire. >> police are investigating an early morning crash that ship, partly for least an hour today. sky team 11 was over the scene this morning. the preliminary investigation reveals two vehicles crashed in the southbound lane shutting them both down. no injuries have been reported. two people are recovering every serious car crash. it happened at twin arches road just before 6:00 this morning it appears 1 indycars crashed the double line striking the other vehicle. both drivers had to be cut from the vehicles and were taken to shock trauma.

>> we are following breaking news. sky team 11 has arrived over the scene. fill us in. >> this is northbound near a church pew road. an incident of road raged that police are investigating. one victim was stabbed and transported to shock trauma. other people were also injured. they were transported to a local hospital. as soon as we get more information, we will update you. >> an early morning apartment fire has killed a grandmother. montgomery county fire officials were on the scene after 2:00 this morning. the woman was severely burned in

the blaze. they rushed to the burn center where she died of injuries. investigators are looking at whether a cigarette caused the fire and ignited her clothing while in bed. a rally in baltimore county today in protest of legislation that would change after restrictions to accommodate transgender men and women. baltimore county would not be the first in the state to enact the legislation. the reasoning behind the bill is to fight discrimination, bullying, and harassment reported by transgender men and women who use public restrooms. it would add gender identity and sexual orientation to the existing human relations laws. opponents say they worry this could open the door to a dangerous trend. >> i know they are not dangerous or going to hurt anybody. i am worried about the other people that are going to dress up and pretend there something they're not. >> men dressed as women getting into bathrooms, showers, locker

rooms with women and children. >> supporters of the bill point to the incident last april, on a cell phone camera. a transgender woman was attacked as she tried to use the women's restroom in a mcdonald's restaurant. council members say this is the kind of violence they're trying to avoid. >> a california company will seek fda approval for its diet drug. it was rejected by the fda in 2010 because of safety concerns. the drug maker is coming back to the fda with additional data. early documents indicate fda advisers are still concerned about possible links to heart problems and birth defects in women who become pregnant while on the drug. visits by a health care worker to the homes of children with asthma can dramatically cut

it was still overcast into new england. that is the way it looked at 5:00 a.m. for most of the day, it has been bright and sunny. that allowed temperatures to recover to normal readings. the heaviest snow was towards roanoke in the western part of virginia. 5 to 10 inches of snow came down. not much going on as far as wintry weather. another day with temperatures a little above normal. the morning temperatures were not very cold, only in the 30's. nothing on the rain gauge or snowboard. almost 10 inches 50 years ago today. 46 degrees in parkville.

46 is a big number around the baltimore area for temperatures. 45 on the coast at ocean city. tonight, clear skies. as the winds diminish, you will get some cold temperatures. 34 downtown. nationwide, we're seeing a couple storms out west. one dumped heavy snow in the pacific northwest and caused the avalanche in washington state. that system has to be watched. another one coming through the upper midwest has rain and snow. parts of minnesota are getting in on the rain. it shows how warm it is in that area. ahead of it, there will be another surge of warm air. it is 44 in chicago. 45 in cincinnati. 63 in dallas.

missionary work from the world. >> a remarkable young man. thank you. here's a look at our top stories. it was breaking news earlier. a case of road rage in and around the county has landed at least one person in the hospital for stabbing wounds after a traffic altercation turned violent. police say they responded after 4:00 this afternoon to a reported seven. a man in his 20's was taken to shock trauma was serious but not life-threatening injuries. the incident is under investigation. family and friends have been gathering to remember michael turlock who was killed over the weekend when he fell out of his stepfather's car into oncoming traffic. he had been drinking four loco. substance-abuse experts say it is marketed to kids.

they want to make sure that afghans can survive eventually without help. family and friends are mourning the loss of four children this weekend in new york. flames spread out of control so quickly that people on the second floor were trapped. crews were able to rescue the mother and a boy. four siblings were killed. a small memorial is standing in front of the burn home. the family had just moved there from another part of the state. >> we used to have sleepovers. she would bring over her makeup kit. but three men on the second- floor jump and survived. >> the cause of the fire is still under investigation. >> following the memorial and burial of whitney houston, there has been a steady outpouring of emotions from fans. flowers and balloons cover her grave this morning in new jersey.
