we have been following it all in charlottesville, virginia. >> it took the jury about nine hours to find george huguely guilty of second-degree murder and grand larceny. they sentenced him to 26 years in prison he crossed himself before the verdict was read and both attorneys are reacting to the verdict. >> there is nothing that we can say that will make good the terrible and tragic loss to the family. there are no winners in this case. there is nothing blas everywhere. >> we are disappointed with this verdict, of course. we have been proud to represent george in his fight for fairness are the last couple of years. he has the support of a loving

family. he has displayed amazing resilience and courage. he is hopeful, he is spiritual and we look forward to some corrections. >> after deliberating about nine hours, a jury of his peers felt there was enough evidence to convict the former uva lacrosse player with second-degree murder in the killing of 22-year-old yeardley love of cockeysville. during a sentencing hearing, sharon love and her sister testified about how grief- stricken they remain. "every day that goes by, i think i am losing pieces of her." lexi love said i never wanted something so bad then to see your face again. this is the number one worst

more likely tonight and tomorrow morning. we will see a change but for the time being, we are enjoying mild temperatures. annapolis is 61 degrees. it is 62 degrees on the boardwalk in cooler as you get away from the bay. frederick is almost 60 and in the 40's out in the mountains to the west. this is the satellite image and not many clouds. the clouds are to the north and west of us and here is a better image. that moisture that is being squeezed out of the atmosphere is warm air. there is a little bubble of high pressure. we will have a little front coming in with a burst of warm air ahead of this cool front which won't have much of an effect. we will stay mild until this final front goes through and that will be tomorrow during the

day. some colder air comes in from the north after that and we readjusts things back to normal by the weekend. all the mild air to the south is coming up into the mid-atlantic region and the colder air has been pushed up to the north but nothing is very extreme as far as temperatures. for the rest of today, a mix of sun and a few scattered clouds later on and maybe a shower but it does not look significant, 60-65 for the high in the rain chances go up tonight but we have had some wind gusted to the 20's this afternoon and temperatures dropped down into the 50's in some of the outlying areas overnight and two more, we can add a few more degrees to the highs and get temperatures in some cases closer to 70 degrees and things really changed after that. you can see by 7:00 this evening, we have more cloudiness and a few spotty showers and the

rain chances increase overnight and in the morning -- bite friday afternoon and evening, that will activity will be pushed out of here and an indication we will have of the colder air and on the weekend, the temperature is addressed and we will be dreier but we will colder. 63 degrees today, 65 tomorrow and until the front goes through, we might see a thunderstorm. once temperatures drop back into the 40's and the weekend, an outside chance of a snow flurries on saturday and chile on sunday and the temperatures warmer little bit next week and we have rain chances monday and wintry mix possible by wed.. >> this is a show that has caught on quickly with parents of all ages and we are talking about nbc's "km." welcome and thank you for joining us. -- "parenthood."
