this tops years of failed attempts to gain the same legal protection as other married couples. the senate took up the house version of the bill, which passed by the narrowest of margins last week, only after it was amended and several delegates switched their position. whether the bill takes effect may be up to voters. the law will likely be petitioned to referendum in november. but for now, supporters want to celebrate what could be the end of state-sanctioned discrimination. >> delighted that this has passed. we feel like all of his god's children can now share in marriage. >> wonderful to celebrate the diversity of creation. this is a great day for maryland. >> the measure now goes to governor martin o'malley for his signature. a bill-signing ceremony could happen as early as next week. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. the governor released a statement saying --

to come forward. have of today, we don't any information that indicates he has conducted illegal traffic stops or other illegal activity as a police impersonator. however, because of the extent of the paraphernalia and police equipment that he has, we're concerned that he may have done this. >> he was also picked up in 2008 for similar charges. he was caught with homemade police uniforms tenures earlier and half a dozen guns. >> two more baltimore police officers now face jail time. a jury convicted one man while another pleading guilty to steering crash victims to a majestic water repair in exchange for cash. both could get up to 25 years in

miles per hour and a slight chance for tornadoes. behind this system, the wind may gust to 40 or 50 miles per hour. the state is under a wind advisory. upper 40's and no 50's. will make it up close to 70 later today. this will be a mild and windy day. over 40 milescogust per hour. clearing and colder tonight. temperatures will drop back into the 40's. the seven-day forecast, will chop off almost 30 degrees tomorrow. high temperature of only 43 on saturday and it will feel like it is in the 20's at 40's because of the wind. a high near 47 on sunday. 6:12. here is sarah.
