details about his death aren't clear. the maryland national guard and department of defense have not identified him as one of the american casualties in the country. word of his death has surfaced after a weekend of deadly protests. so far four americans have been killed and the taliban has claimed responsibility, saying it was in response to u.s. soldiers buring korans. the major's daughter has fond memories of her dad, a family man who loved his wife and children. she and her family are grieving his loss and hoping his legacy lives on. >> he was a strong, courageous, brave, loving man of god. he just loved the lord. and he loved my mom and he loved us and he would have done anything for us. >> the marchanti family is from the garden vill area of northeast baltimore. lia says her father taught physical education at dundalk elementary. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> our thoughts go up to their

family. the trial begins right mental patient charged in the death of another patient. 51-year-old el soudani el wahhabi is accused of strangling susan sachs in the hospital back in september of 2010. experts found el soudani el wahhabi competent to stand trial. the attack was one of three murders at the jessup hospital in 13 months. inches medical center could soon be run by hospital system that does not have catholic beliefs. officials say the potential buyers have agreed to honor the hospitals catholic identity. the hospital is being sold because of money problems following a surgical scandal. >> a committee on edge this morning. this happened early on sunday

morning in towson on allegheny avenue. a man came home to find a burglar inside his home. the victim is expected to recover. police later arrested the suspect. the one-year anniversary of a death. he was riding his bicycle when the collided with a turning vehicle and was trapped underneath. love one say this is a political platform to help prevent tragedies in the future. >> this demoralizes the accident and our efforts as a family to change maryland law and to make the streets safer. we're trying to work with the mva to work with screening older drivers to me sure they are capable of driving safely. >> his parents say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

i love the connection between body image and nature. >> the campaign has been inspired by the author who wrote "the good body." students are encouraged to make posters that use the tree to celebrate body diversity and promote a positive body image. >> this is all in conjunction with national eating's disorders awareness week. having a positive body image is a way to prevent that. >> that is one of the main protective factors of an eating disorder. there is so many times the kids are faced with being critical of their bodies and comparing their bodies. this is a rare opportunity to step back in celebrate your body and appreciate what your body allows you to do and to feel good about yourself. >> this is beautiful artwork and
