discrimination against their goods, baltimore mayor stephanie rawlings but issued an executive order this morning that stopped police officers from asking about citizenship status. this comes days after u.s. immigration officials said they would be checking the immigration status of people are arrested and booked in local jails. right now, baltimore city police are investigating an early- morning shooting. we are told the man was waiting for a bus at greenmount avenue when he was shot twice. that was around 5:30 this morning. the unidentified man it is taken to hospital, where he is in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and chest. more tornadoes causing damage proposes have been destroyed in alabama. no word on how many or if anyone has been injured. the same storm system is moving

elementary school. the victim was near the entrance of chesapeake academy wednesday morning when the man, who had just been spotted inside the school, attacked her and took her purse. >> i would say it was a crime of opportunity. he went into the school, asked for brochures. we are looking at that as maybe he was looking to see if he could commit this theft, and he later committed the theft in the parking lot. >> you are asked to call police if you know anything. an elderly woman sets off a security scare at b.w.i. 3 thurgood marshall airport after bringing a loaded handgun in her luggage. she says she simply forgot the gun was in the bag. it was detected at the security checkpoint wednesday morning. police arrested at her and charged her but let her go after she cooperated. they did confiscate the weapons. more about an alleged breaking and entering in harford county that left one deputy injured and two in police custody.

police heard screams while responding to a call in edgewood. when they got inside a house, they arrested two of three suspects but the third was able to break through a plate glass window and escaped, injuring the deputy. >> our deputy was severely cut. the individual that was fleeing dove out a plate glass window. >> they were cutting his shirt off. you could tell he was hurting. i saw another deputy carry his holster and whatever else he had on him into another car. >> they released to the deputy from a hospital but we are told he will need more surgery on his arm because of how bad the cuts are. police are still looking for the third suspect. the trial continues today against the captain of the capsized cruise liner off the coast of italy. the captain is under house arrest right now. he is being demonized around the world for his actions during the

capsizing, but people from his home town are rallying it around him. prosecutors say he caused the accident by bringing about to close to shore, when he struck a rock that for a large gash. north korean state television showed video of leaders threatening to kill south korea's president. rumors or that south korean military road defamatory remarks under portraits of the north korean leaders. it highlights the lingering animosity between the korean leaders. >> we'll start with a look at the radar here. we're beginning to see some rain moving in our direction. first band of what will probably be a couple of swipes or rain. this area right in here is probably not making it to the ground. this is all elevated train.
