>> in its turn age, mother a 13- year-old high monae turnage is speechless after learning a police officer was suspended for his conduct after her daughter turned up dead. turnage says this past saturday, her daughter and two friends, who turned out to be suspects under killing, were supposed to be going skating in the white marsh area and were supposed to be driven there by the sister of one of those suspects. when turnage reached out to one of the boys in called him on the phone, he began telling her a strange story about his sister's boyfriend. >> he said the police officer was going to bring us back down. he said -- klein >> monae turnage never came home that lighnight.

a man identified himself as a baltimore city police officer. >> [unintelligible] he said yes, i am the one, but i never took them. he said he never took them. he said he came to the house to ask them to go and they said they were not going. >> sources familiar with the case said the officer is dating a relative of one of the suspects. the same sources say investigators want to know whether the officer knew about the shooting and did not report it, and whether he counseled the suspects on what to do with turnage after she was shot, including what to do with her body. allegedly, they were playing with a rifle when it went off, hitting turnage, and the boys hid her body in an alley under some plastic bags.

huge massive water main break in dundalk second 2009. some new technology is meant to prevent catastrophic breaks like that in the future. the water main break in september 2009 and turned and dundalk into a disaster zone. cars, roads, and homes were flooded. dozens of people lost everything in their basements. the new technology is called a pipe diver. it is used car on a certain type of concrete pipe that was manufactured back in the 1975 and taught in dundalk. it goes down and identifies the location and level of damage inside the pipe. cracks an idea as to what really needs to be replaced when so we do not have a situation like we had in dundalk and those other locations. this is a proactive thing we are doing. >> you are looking at the process taking place near lincoln park. the first site where they are

whole region was swamped with snow and rain and hurricane force winds along the coastal areas. as much as 40-foot waves completely restructured the inlets and coastal areas down there. we only ended up with 10 inches of snow in baltimore. it was caused -- called the ash wednesday storm because it lingered into wednesday. 3 feet of snow at big meadow. a power pack storm 50 years ago today. march can produce some huge storms in the mid atlantic. we saw some call this morning and it is still cold across new england. only 44 at bwi marshall now. the warm-up shows on the map just to our west, coming in for the next couple of days. the cloud cover passing by to the north and west is actually all warm front making its way into northwestern pennsylvania and western new york state.
