a woman during a domestic dispute inside the van and pushed her outside the van and kept driving. he apparently shot and killed himself. a man is in the hospital after an officer opened fire in cecil county. troopers say they saw a man with what appeared to be a silver handgun. they ordered christopher thomas to drop the gun. one trooper fired several shots heading thomas in the legs -- hitting thomas in the legs. >> a big night for rick santorum. tara mergener is live with this

boy. he had been convicted of attempted murder in the shooting. prosecutors say he shot at a man who the previously argued with. that man ran into a house and push the child to the ground to protect him. the intended victim was not hurt. a man remains in the hospital this morning. this happened 9:00 on tuesday night near ashland avenue. officers found the unidentified man suffering from several gunshot wounds and is listed in critical condition. no word as to a suspect or a possible motive. >> any type of theft. -- a new type of theft. criminals are targeting tide laundry detergent.
