>> not ever. but it's good. >> beautiful. >> we're so tired of all the old shows that keep coming back year after year after year after year. you know, the revivals. they're great, but you long for something new. >> yes. >> this is so good. it is -- it's only 13 people. they're up on a stage. every one of them plays -- the band is the cast. >> mm-hmm. >> there's a new story. it's a fresh story with terrific performances. and characters you actually care about. and when you leave the theater -- you were -- >> the whole thing. it was so beautiful. the music was incredible. you love the story. it's a love story of two people who fall in love with each other over a five-day period. it's beautiful. at the intermission, the whole stage turns into a bar. everybody goes up and they're getting wine and drinks. they go back to their seats and they start the second act, unique and interesting.

and i dumped it into a storage bowl i was going to put in the fridge and ate out of the big bowl like this. >> the whole thing? >> no. i couldn't eat the whole thing but i did damage. i don't feel as bad because you don't know how big your portion is because it's overall so huge, there's still a lot of left. i get that way. i eat when i'm stressed about something. >> people are either eaters or drinkers apparently. america's biggest drinker is out. another thing we need a narcissistic website. the biggest drinkers in the whole country are in? >> number five in boston, okay. the biggest drinkers start off in boston. austin is number four, so congratulations to them. number three, chicago. two, new york city. and the biggest drinkers in the country come from washington, d.c. the nation's capital. >> so, therefore, the people running our country are drinking the most, which sort of explains a lot. >> now, if you wondered where

the lightest drinkers come from, there are those cities. miami -- >> i was surprised. >> i am, too. >> not in south beach. >> detroit, phoenix, tampa, and the lightest drinkers of all according to the survey, las vegas, nevada. >> that can't be tourists or hookers. that's got to be -- that has tot gob the people that actually work there and live there. huge community of people -- i couldn't believe the first time i worked in vegas, i went to be in a little trio. when i first moved out to l.a., one of the first job offers i got, you're hungry, i was working at the landmark hotel something called the wind song trio. and i said i don't care what it is. i'm there. they said the girl fell out, you have to learn an entire show in one day and you'll be doing three shows a day for 28 days. i said, yeah, sounds fun. >> oh, my gosh. >> went on a saturday, learned the show on sunday and went in for a month doing the show. nobody told me i'd be sharing a room with the other two girls of the wind song trio. one was miss world, and i don't

want to say anything, but she didn't miss anybody in las vegas, if you know what i'm saying. and the other one was a southern baptist preacher's daughter who had never been with anyone in her entire life. and the two of them linked up and then there was with me. i'd be getting up in the morning to go and have my breakfast special, they'd be coming in. >> oh, my gosh. >> oh, my gosh. it was unbelievable. >> traumatizing. >> yeah. >> a little. >> you don't realize until you get to vegas there's a whole other netherworld of people who live there. they're not crazy. they have families. my son lives outside of las vegas. >> it has a sane side to it. i know your favorite part of thursday. >> if omt only i could put ear plugs in. >> my play list. this one, you guys, before we roll it, i love this song. it sounds like it's a happy almost teenybop song because you know my tastes can be that way. carly rae jepsen.

>> when you go in, you don't want to go in and kiss up, basically. say i love this business, i love your blah, blah, blah. but you say it's not such a terrible thing to go in and gush a little bit. >> a lot of candidates think they've got to be buttoned up and it makes them reserved. but on the other side of the desk, you want to see passion, you want to know that the person does want to work for your company. you don't want to seem desperate. it's important to show the love and say, this seems like a great place to work, i love the sound of this job. >> it is such a youth-dominated world we live in, what can an older woman who's perhaps been out of the workplace for a while, what would you say to her to feel she's got confidence going in? >> you maybe haven't been in the workplace for a while but you've had incredible experience. be up front about it. don't try to pad the resume. say i haven't been working in a job where i got paid. here's what i've been doing, the experience i have and why i think i would be so beneficial in this position. >> a lot of people already at work who don't get noticed by

still looking good in the northeast on saturday. and this storm in the west is going to track its way further to the west and the inner mountain west. we'll see the snow move into the mountains of colorado. by monday, rain showers to the midsection of the country. we're not going to break that heat very much, so even early next week, still seeing 70s and 80s. by tuesday, showers again through the nation's heartland, up into minneapolis. still in the upper 60s across new york city. and on wednesday, the system will slowly progress to the east and bring us another threat for thunderstorms. remember, you can always "wake up with al" weekdays at 6:00 a.m. on the weather channel for your latest weather updates. 2:30 in the afternoon, a lot to do, and you've hit the wall. but you got to get stuff done. so take 5-hour energy. just open it up, knock it back, and roll up your sleeves. 5-hour energy is faster and easier than coffee. man, does it work.
