a high of 68 degrees. will get even warmer in the seven-day forecast. >> good morning. not exactly ideal conditions. we do have fog. it could impact your ride. we have an accident approaching franken boulevard on 795. -- franklin boulevard. an accident in cockeysville. a disabled vehicle being cleared on southbound dulaney valley down towards the beltway. you may start to see some delays. fire activity with some closures at bel air road. pretty good shape in terms of drive times. this is 50 at sandy point. looking good and no major delays. fog is an issue. this is 795 at franklin

man they note as a dedicated member of the armed services. the defense team said it is too early to know when may have played into the incident appeared the defense will be looking into medical and personnel records and interviewing witnesses. >> there is speculation about his mental state. there are reports he was having some personal problems. >> there was a lot going on behind the scenes. he reportedly had financial troubles. his home was condemned. there was an investment job that went bad in florida. assaults, and didn't run. he had been denied a promotion that he wanted. instead of getting that, he was sent abroad to afghanistan. >> tara mergener, thank you.

final tributes for the maryland national guardsmen that was killed last month. he was one of two servicemen in retaliation for the accidental burning of korans. a memorial service will be held today in lutherville. he will be buried tuesday at arlington national cemetery. jury selection is expected to begin in the trial of a man murdering his twin brother. this happened back in 2007. the brothers had a history of violent arguments. prosecutors believe he killed his brother after his brother implicated him in a theft at a mall. three separate shooting incidents on sunday. a woman shot her boyfriend in the leg.

she is charged with attempted murder. another shooting victim walked into the hospital for help. police were called and found a 16-year-old shot in the leg. >> police arrested at least 10 juveniles for various crimes. the charges range from disorderly conduct to assault. a road construction worker is recovering after being struck by car along 95. kim dacey is live with more details. good morning. >> the victim's friends are questioning whether the driver was drunk and did not even realize they hit a person. police say 35-year-old ricardo jobes was working to restripe lanes along interstate 95 south just before caton avenue after

midnight on saturday. they say jobes was observing safety protocol by working in the two lanes closed to traffic. police say a driver veered into the construction zone, hit jobes, and took off. police are looking for a gold or silver gm sedan, possibly a pontiac grand prix. they also believe the car has headlight damage. jobes' fiancee says his leg is shattered. >> well, he's about 6'6", 260 pounds. big guy. so, i'm sure if it was somebody that was my height or shorter, they'd have probably been run over. they probably wouldn't have made it. >> jobes is listed in fair condition here at shock trauma. towns says he loves his construction job. he was named employee of the month on friday, just hours before the accident. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. the driver accused of fleeing the scene after allegedly striking a boy is in custody

this morning. the child was struck on sunday evening. police say the driver had several outstanding warrants fled the scene but was eventually tracked down. a man is dead after being struck by a car over the weekend. police say kimberly enders was not in the crosswalk when he was struck by a car. joshua aversano was flown to shock trauma worry later died. >> 7 people are recovering after their bus crashed in anne arundel county. this happened on sunday morning. it collided with another vehicle. none of the injuries are serious. 6:07. a possible payday for apple investors.

>> welcome back to 11 news today. 6:11. 56 degrees downtown. you can see a thin layer of fog forming downtown. there is fog along the eastern shore. delays in kent county and queen anne's county. it looks mainly dry. the real rate is pushing out towards the west. showers developing over west virginia. we have some rain in oakland. this'll be an eastward progression. there is a chance for some rain in baltimore.

we have the clouds and showers moving in from the west. rasher sitting offshore. all the moisture and moving in from the coast. we saw a bit of fog yesterday. the atmosphere is very moist. it is extremely mild. we have every single season being represented. we have spring in the mid atlantic. we have winter out in the west. we're not seeing any fall. 's for placese 80 paus like chicago. 63 in minneapolis. there are warmer than we are to start the day. a very sharp dividing line as you look west of colorado. 36 in denver.

problem free all the way down towards the fort mchenry. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. back to you. >> police in indianapolis all looking for who shot five teenagers. the teenagers were the victim of a drive-by shooting. they are expected to survive. tensions are high in florida following the shooting death of a teenager. he was shot and killed by a man on a neighborhood watch. many are outraged. civil rights leaders have scheduled rallies in the town this week. his family has called for an independent investigation. it feels like summer in much of the country.

a rare snowstorm in arizona. up to two feet of snow in flagstaff. more snow is expected through today. >> the pain at the pump gets more intense. gas prices rose 7 cents in just one week. 31 cents more than a month ago. the all-time high is $4.11 a gallon. gm cannot seem to drum up enough business forest chevy volt. they're halting production. they have sold 6000 vots -- 1600 volts. that means about 3000 workers

we have a problem on southbound dulaney valley. a disabled vehicle is impacting the left turn lane. be careful. southbound 795 approaching franklin boulevard, this accident off to the side. 11 minutes on the outer loop west side. 10 minutes to travel on southbound 95 from the beltway down towards 32. this is the west side at security. outer loop traffic is building and started to see some delays down towards edmondson. this is 95 543 harford county. not seeing any delays by getting heavier closer to the beltway. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. ava has a check on your forecast. >> we saw some fog on some of

his friends are questioning whether the driver was drunk. construction crews were restriping the lanes on this stretch of interstate 95 to make the road safer. the job turned treacherous for ricardo jobes just after midnight on saturday. police say a driver veered into the construction zone, hit jobes, and took off. jobes' fiancee says his leg is shattered. >> well, he's about 6'6", 260 pounds. big guy. so, i'm sure if it was somebody that was my height or shorter, they'd have probably been run over. they probably wouldn't have made it. >> it happened on i-95 south just before the caton avenue exit. a police sergeant says jobes was observing safety protocol by working in the two lanes closed to traffic. >> that area was well lit. we had signs. those lanes were coned off for a distance prior to that actual work zone. they had been doing that type of work at night because there's less traffic out.

>> the sergeant says a gold or silver gm sedan hit jobes. as investigators search for the driver, zakiyyah towns tells us, instead of focusing on the driver, she is concentrating on getting her 35-year-old fiance to the altar in june. >> oh, i am hoping that he is able to walk down the aisle, at least with a crutch or a cane at this point, as his leg is very red. >> towns says despite the accident, jobes probably will want to go back to work in construction. he liked his job so much, he was named employee of the month on friday, just hours before the accident. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a carroll county man and woman had to be flown to shock trauma after a serious accident on sunday morning. police say james maticic and were on anartin or o atv when it struck a guardrail.

first phase will begin in pasadena. the new meters are allowed consumers to control usage. final tributes began this morning for the national guardsmen that was killed last month. was shot and killed in what is believed to be retaliation shooting for the accidental burning of pkorans. he is survived by his wife and four children. he will be buried with full military honors on tuesday at arlington national cemetery. jury selection is scheduled to begin today. a man is accused of killing his brother back in 2007.

you can see some fog this morning. the biggest concern is from baltimore down to the eastern shore. you can see the rain trying to make its way into western maryland. there have been some rumbles of thunder. it is basically falling apart as it moves over the mountains. most of the activity diving into virginia. this is could news for the roads. but the afternoon, that could change. we can see showers off to the west. some thunderstorms moving into virginia. we can see moisture in from the ocean. that is keeping the forecast a little damp. a storm system moving in from the west. intoand 80's all the way
