>> yesterday turned out all right. we recovered nicely during the afternoon. this point, the fog is not quite as widespread. there are some advisories. the main feature in the weather is what will happen this weekend. the first elements of a storm is approaching and moving into ohio right now. it is getting closer. a large-scale storm. it will cover the weekend. it will bring the temperatures down a little bit. we'll talk about the degree coming up in just a few minutes. now we want to check out the traffic. >> good morning. a nice start aside from the fact it is foggy in spots. all joppa road, we have a gas main break. you will find some delays and

are being caught on some kind of a video. we do know that cell phone video was posted on a website and this happened yesterday after dismissal at columbia's long reach high school. a man wearing a ski mask confronted and tried to assault a student who turned out to be a junior at the school. you can see the man gets knocked to the ground. the student was a football player and was defending himself. >> the situation is under investigation by the school and the police. it has been turned over to the police department. it has gone of viral on the internet. >> that video has had more than 725,000 hits. police are investigating and they do expect charges to be filed against the adult male.

the student is not expected to face any disciplinary action. a girl has been charged with assault. why is the man was in default and was on campus in the first place at 5:30. now back to you. >> thank you. the final police officer charged in the majestic towing extortion scheme has pleaded guilty and faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced in july. 17 officers were charged. police chief is refusing to attend an upcoming council meeting. the case against -- police chief james teare took no action after officers expressed concern over leopold addressing them to conduct activity.

we made it to 76 yesterday at the airport and the inner harbor. all the dense fog slowed the warming up just a bit. there was a trace of precipitation in the morning hours. 59 in annapolis this morning. parkton, 54. frederick, a 52. here's the big storm. it is impressive-looking. there are several bands of rain. this will move over us over the weekend and it is kind of widespread. saturday and sunday will be involved. this is what the map will look like. we have rain to the west of us. tonight and tomorrow, it will be an issue. it will take all weekend long to move through the area. we will see some of fog through the area.
