million people. it happened at a columbia high school after dismissal. school officials say a man in a mask confronted and tried to assault a student. the man is not to the ground. the boy is seen throwing a punch. officials say he was defending himself. >> it has been turned over to the police department. according to reports, a 15-year- old girl has been charged. the man who came to the school may have ties to the girl's caretaker. this is a video that has gone viral with more than 600,000 hits. online behavior can take on a life of its own. >> taking pictures and putting it on the internet would be one of the worst kinds of action if

there is malicious intent. >> howard county police are investigating. they intend to file charges against the adult in this case. >> meantime, new details in the investigation of a triple stabbing. at least three people were stabbed. these men wore all involved. we were on the scene tuesday afternoon -- these men were all involved. the car was shot at one point and police are still investigating the possible shooting. protecting immigrants from discrimination. that is the focus of an executive order that mayor stephanie rawlings blake discussed with may -- which members of the latino community. -- with members of the latino

he is being held in a military detention center in leavenworth, kansas. military.com is giving people a firsthand look of a military helicopter crash. the helicopter shifted altitudes before rolling in the sky and crashing into the ground. the two crew members on board survived the crash and no one on the ground was hurt. it is the report many have been waiting for. the l.a. coroner's office findings on how whitney houston died. we have more on what silenced one of music's legendary voices. >> troubled pop start whitney houston accidentally drowned in a bathtub with car trouble contributed to harper -- to her

>> in our project the economy report, new estimates show the baltimore archdiocese may have to come up with quite a bit of cash to fix the damage from last summer's earthquake. the crack in the dome grew. repairs may cost as much as $5 million. repairs are set to begin in june. they hope to keep the church opened for weekend masses and weddings. there report released thursday shows the city lost more than 10,000 jobs last year compared to in 2010. hotel occupancies are up. more people are moving to the city. the report was based on findings from a 1 mile radius. >> now your insta-weather

forecast with meteorologist john collins. >> we had a little fog yesterday. at the moment, some nice warm air coming toward us. a front to the northeast of us. behind the front, there is some cold air. the channel -- being channeled up is some warm air. the baseline is 56. that is the normal high. we had some ups and downs above the average for the season. storms come in and the temperatures take a slide. we will be back down to normal sometime next week. things will re-adjust. the green indicates some

slightly cooler temperatures. 70's in central virginia. it will probably be in the 80's during the afternoon. that give us a couple of hours to finish warming up. the record high for this date is 82 degrees set in 1934. we also got 3 1/2 inches of snow. you can see the opposites here. in 1934, we got some snow. now we're going to threaten the record as far as temperatures are concerned. here is the storm that will produce the rain for us. the center is to the west. the league age is in the ohio river valley. -- the leading edge is in the ohio river valley.
