>> police are looking for a suspect in a string of disturbing burglaries'. jennifer franciotti is live in towson with more details. >> it is pretty frightening. so far nobody has been hurt. police are worried that the situation could escalate. they do have a slight description of the man who was been breaking into at least six homes last weekend. most happen along joppa road. the men ransacked clothes and jewelry and madoff with a purse containing prescription drugs. police are concerned about the brazen nature of the break-ins. >> most burglaries take place during the day when people are not home. what is unusual about these burglaries is that they have taken place in people's homes at night while people are home.

it is extraordinarily frightening for someone to fight a stranger in the house and also because the risk is much higher if a burglar is sprayed again when people are there of having some kind of an altercation. >> police described the suspect as about 6 feet tall but a slight man, 150 pounds. if anyone has information, they are asked to call 1-866-7- lockup. reporting live, jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. police officer on routine administrative leave after the first police involved shooting of the year. police received a call on tuesday morning for the reports of somebody acting unstable. police arrived and an altercation broke out between seron jackson and the officer.
