because the burglar is breaking into homes while people are in them overnight. so far no one has been hurt but they are wary that these crimes could escalate. most in the 5100 block of joppa road. the man ransacked dressers for jewelry and madoff with a purse with prescription drugs. >> most burglaries take place during the day when people are not at home. what is unusual about these burglaries is that they have taken place in people's homes at night while people are at home. it is extraordinarily frightening for someone to find a stranger in the house and also because the risk is obviously much higher if a burglar is breaking in when people are there of having some kind of an altercation.

homicide. the public will be notified in a timely manner. >> police have yet to identify the officer who fired the shots. >> a man faces possible murder charges. myron eva police say that the baby died on sunday. the original child abuse charges will be upgraded to include murder. it reported stabbing that happened just before 6:00 on monday evening. the victim was taken to harbor hospital. no word on his current condition. >> police have arrested a man involved with that on campus fight. donnell vannison faces assault charges. he is seen being knocked to the ground in the video.

the clouds will thicken up and by the afternoon, we could see a few scattered thunderstorms develop. high temperature around 73 degrees. we'll come back and check the seven forecast going all the way through the weekend. >> police searching for a brazen burglary that has already hit six homers and white marsh. >> jennifer franciotti has more details on the crimes. >> police say so far nobody has been hurt but they're worried that things could escalate. baltimore county police say this man is taking advantage of homeowners who do not lock up at night. investigators tell 11 news that the man broke into at least six homes in the white marsh area last weekend. most were in the 5100 block of joppa road. detectives say the man ransacked dressers for jewelry and clothes and in one case made off with a purse containing prescription drugs. police are not sure if he is armed but are concerned about the brazen nature of the break- ins. >> most burglaries take place

first officer-involved shooting of the year. they were forced to killed seron jackson. police have yet to identify the officer who fired the shots. retrial of twin brothers accused of killing a dog back in 2009. charged with animal cruelty in the death of that dog. prosecutor say they have evidence linking the brothers and to the crime. supreme court will consider the legality of the heart of the health care law. they considered whether the requirement is constitutional. the government said yes. final arguments will cover whether medicaid and violates state powers. decision is not expected until june.
