the aclu is crying foul. >> the aclu said they are upset an outbreak of the action of the police department because they apparently violated state regulations when it comes to school arrest. the suspects are 8-9 years old. they spent 12 hours at the juvenile justice center downtown. one mother said she was very upset about this. >> i just are decrying. i said my baby is back in a cell. he is 9-years old. >> loretta was at work when she was told her 9-year-old daughter had been arrested. two other 9-year-old girls and an 8-year-old boy were erected around noon. >> they took the children outside in front of school where whoever could be staring at these children. they put their hands behind their backs and put them in a paddy wagon. >> the children were sought -- were charged with aggravated assault for an alleged assault last week.

quite the suspect allegedly threatened the victim to put their head under the water. there was another juvenile that ssaulted on some railroad tracks. >> they should not be in jail. they are children. >> loretta says she was forbidden to talk to her daughter the whole time she was in custody. she did not see her daughter until midnight -- 12 hours after she would taken from school. >> she would not her normal self. it is kind of like she was shot in a way, but trying to hide it. >> loretta and our father are upset by the way officers settle the arrest. the aclu -- the aclu said they are also outraged. >> they are in violation of procedures concerning school arrest. they are not supposed to arrest children during school hours when it is feasible for them to arrest the children at home. >> i hope this does not happen to any other families.

i hope they learn how to do their job. >> a spokesman for the department said the actions of the officers involved is under investigation. we are live tonight at the juvenile justice center in downtown baltimore. >> the city officer involved in the deadly shooting earlier this week is been identified. michael gordon is under administrative leave after shooting one man in the northwest section of the city. on tuesday, borden was forced to shoot a 21-year-old after he emerged from his home waving what appeared to be a knife. the incident remains under investigation. meanwhile, police are trying to hunt down a masked intruder they say sexually assaulted a woman in northeast baltimore. the 18-year-old victim told police she was resting in her bedroom of around 11:00 when the suspect broke in and attacked her. it is a case neighbors find alarming. >> it is not good at all.

>> now, your first alert forcast with meterologist tom tasselmyer. >> as we head into the weekend, lightning strikes. storms are holding together coming down out of pennsylvania toward western maryland. most of the lightning and the thunder activity with this line of showers will fall apart as it did to cooler and more stable area. so far, it is holding together. this line of storage is stretching back into ohio. some of the storms that produced a lot of pale as they predict -- hail. there have been reports of significant hail. do not surprised -- be surprised if you hear a rebel or two up under overnight. -- rumble of thunder or two over night. here is what we have going so far.

early next week only one coach in the final four has won a national cabbage -- brig bettino. the coaches at a level now. lubow place kentucky tomorrow night. that puts pitino in a position to win two national titles at two different schools in the same state. usually coaches like to play the underdog part, not pitino. the things a little reverse psychology will help level against kentucky. -- louisville against kentucky. >> i really have not used it this week mainly because i want my team to have confidence that they can play with kentucky. i think at this level, if you take the underdog mentality, then i think they feel they do not belong and it works against you.
