doubly hit and run case. this has been a tragic weekend for students. fraternity ryan's brothers are on their way to his home in long island to comfort his family. crash team investigators continue to search for clues. his attorney brothers hold on to fond memories. >> a happy person, one of the best from every situation. >> he was an accounting major and a member of the sigma pi fraternity. the long island native was killed while walking near the intersection of york road and washington ave. he was walking northbound when a car traveling in the same direction hit him and kept going. he was pronounced dead at the scene and the search continues for the older model white or silver boxy car that hit him. >> we cannot comment at this time about what damage may be --

applications. this event is taking place in other cities around the country. we will have more at 10 and 11:00 p.m. ? the maryland general assembly will adjourn one week from tonight. >> lawmakers are trying to work our differences on the state budget and several other major issues. >> there are so many items left you may need a scorecard. budget conferees will plan to meet tomorrow late in the afternoon to pick up items such as increasing the state income tax rate and shifting the cost of pensions. >> we have a solution. >> wednesday is the deadline to wrap the budget decisions but few members of this committee believe that will happen. the differences in the plans are

submitted. the house wants an increase of 2.5%. for single filers making 200 grandey year. the increase would apply to joint filers making $150,000 or more. income tax exemptions would be phased out but -- for those making $100,000 and income tax exemptions would be eliminated for single filers making 100,000 or more. and for joint filers with incomes at $200,000. total revenue generated address proposal is $191 million. if the senate budget puts an increase on those with taxable incomes from 3000 to 25,000 year. a point to 5 increase for those earning 75,000 to $500,000 and a flat tax rate of 5.75 imposed on those making $1 more than half a million a year. total revenue generated under this plan is $460 million. >> the full senate has not tackled major pieces of

legislation passed by the house. this includes the subsidizing of of offshore wind fall. it would add a dollar to bills. the senate still has to take up a house plan to double the bus tax from $30 to $60 a year. the senate sent the house a bill limiting the installment of septic systems. it requires the mapping out of four tiers of development before any sums -- subdivisions are proved. the committee is expected to vote tuesday on a bill passed by the senate allowing slots in prince georges county. it will allow table games at all current locations. the governor's gas tax increases a separate bill not -- that has not moved in either chamber. >> tomorrow is primary election day in maryland. the candidates are focusing on was kansan -- wisconsin.

pool with her co-workers at a mcdonald's. the actual winning ticket she bought by herself. she says she has no plans to share the winnings. at this mcdonald's down the street from where the ticket was sold, i was told by a public relations person that no cameras were allowed on the property. she would not give me any information including whether wilson's work here. and address we found for ms. wilson in south baltimore, no one answered the door and one neighbor said he had not seen any activity here in weeks. at the 7-eleven where the winning ticket was bought come out customers i talked with were skeptical about the story. >> an april fool's joke, i guess. >> she did not come forward, i do not know. i would have hurried up and got it out the way. i would not have waited around. >> i do not think it was april fool's but if it was, they got
