pool with her mcdonald's co- workers. her attorney told reporters to leave his clients alone. he said he is not seen the so- called winning ticket. >> that is the case. i cannot say with any certainty that this ticket exists. i would caution anybody until it is presented to the lottery commission for processing that it does exist. >> not only did mirlande wilson not show the ticket, she did not speak to the news conference. >> the trial is set to begin for a man charged with three rapes. nadia ramdass joins us live with details on this case. good morning. >> a man who was once described as a public enemy number 1 goes on trial later this morning.

the motive was to break into a home while his victims are sleeping. they say evidence linked the man to three rapes in baltimore city last year. authorities think there could be more victims out there. >> he catches them on aware. he typically blindfolds them with clothing, rapes and assaults them. >> the trial is set for later this morning. reporting live, nadia ramdass, wbal-tv 11 news. >> the state of maryland will try to decide whether it will retry a man accused of murdering his twin brother. he is accused of killing his brother back in 2007. the brothers had a history of violent arguments.

the previous murder trial ended in a mistrial. >> the house of delegates approved a borrowing deal for the state's capital budget. the capital budget does spur construction work. the state may not be able to borrow as much in the upcoming years. the national transportation group reports that maryland's top priority should be widening the capital beltway. 40 projects that need to be invested in now to improve our economic future. the cost of the top 10 projects amounts to $13 billion. also recommended is a transit line.

>> thank you. the rich rocketeers for twin brothers accused of setting a dog on fire. the jury watched tape testimony from the first trial of travers and tremayne johnson, which ended in a mistrial. the judge ordered a witness jailed for six months after she said she would rather serve time than testify. the dog died of injuries back in may. >> controversy at the university of maryland college park. messages were found inside an elevator. a noose was found hanging in the computer science building. officials say there will not tolerate such behavior. jerry sandusky facing 52 counts of alleged sexual misconduct

appears in court later today. we're joined live with a preview of today's hearing. good morning. >> he is expected to be at the courthouse later today for a pretrial hearing. his attorney said he does not want sandusky to return here. he is asking the judge to throw out all the charges. he was taken into custody and charged with these allegations after a grand jury investigation. sandusky faced even more charges as more victims came forward with allegations that he had sexually assaulted them. sandusky waved a preliminary hearing a few months ago. he spoke to reporters at that time maintaining his innocence. he is asking for this trial to
