looking good traveling down from glen burnie and a nice start. 11 minutes on the outer loop northeast side. 10 minutes to travel south to 95 from the beltway down towards 32. this is 95 at the tydings memorial bridge. they are clearing out construction and no delays to report. this is the j.f.x. southbound traffic and not tracking any delays at this time. utilize the alternates this morning. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> get ready for some major gridlock as a main expressway shrinks down. >> one lane on each side of the jones falls expressway is shutting down. this could create quite a backup. kim dacey is live with details.

>> we can see one of the lanes closed southbound. traffic is moving find in both directions. city officials are urging folks to avoid the j.f.x. if possible. one lane in each direction between 29th street and northern parkway is shut down and that is expected to last and least two months. driver is are urged to familiarize themselves with secondary roads. >> we will have one lane closed in each direction which means capacity will be decreased in each direction. this will be challenging. >> skyteam 11 will be monitoring the situation from above. if you want a list of the

of the mitchell courthouse back in march. a man was beaten and robbed. police are trying to find three other suspects involved with that attack. police were able to zoom in on these three people. if you know who they are, call baltimore police. >> george huguely returns to court today to determine if there are grounds for is sentenced to be altered. he was found guilty of second- degree murder of yeardley love. the jury recommended 26 years in prison. a woman pleading guilty to first-degree murder for her role in the shooting death of her

husband, lee martin. she enlisted the help of some others. topresident obama's trip colombia is over. there is a scam but what the secret service agents -- there is a scandal. tara mergener has more. >> president obama addressed the scandal while still in colombia. he says he has full confidence in the secret service. an embarrassing shatter over the trip to international summit in colombia. 11 agents are accused of misconduct involving prostitution.

>> what happened here in colombia is being investigated by the director of the secret service. i expect that investigation to be thorough and i expect it to be rigorous. >> the alleged incident involves several women, some allege to be prostitutes. a formal report revealed the scandal. >> one of the agents refused to pay. she complained to the police. >> the agents were sent back to washington and placed on administrative leave. prostitution is legal in some parts of colombia. this is a breach of agency contract appeart. >> this kind of a breach is a breach in the federal work force. they just do not protect the

>> the cleanup continues following a tornado-filled weekend. at least five people were killed in the state of oklahoma at least 29 others are hurt. we'll have more on the latest round of deadly tornadoes later in this newscast. today marks five years since the deadliest rampage by a single gunman in u.s. history. this happened at virginia tech and 32 people were killed. this but national attention on mental health care for students. the shooter was declared mentally ill. >> president obama spoke out in rule.of the buffet rott

the average high temperature today is 65. we could see some thunderstorms, a chance, a slight chance for some severe weather in this yellow-shaded area this afternoon and that includes western maryland. wind gusts over 60 miles per hour. this produced weak tornadoes out in the midwest. it will be weaker when it gets over to us. i did not see any reason that would fall apart by the time tickets over towards us. most of the day will be dry and warm. 65 at the airport. 52 degrees in frederick. mostly sunny today. a chance for some thunderstorms this evening. high temperature around 86 degrees. the average high is 65.

>> good morning, everybody. welcome back to 11 news today. i'm stan stovall. >> and i'm mindy basara. thanks for joining us for 11 news today. it feels like summer. >> it will be in the 80's this afternoon. the record highs and 90 and will come close to that. the average high temperature is 65. it is 65 at 5:30 in the morning. the forecast for today -- mostly sunny skies. an average high temperature of 86. there will be some thunderstorms late in the day out of the mountains. maybe after 6:00 p.m. some rain will move then. we'll come back and check the forecast for the rest of the week -- some rain will move in. >> the j.f.x. will be a big deal this morning as motorists
