week for people to learn their alternate routes. then they feel a lot of the traffic should settle down a little bit. we all knew it was coming -- single lane closures, yet this was the situation during the monday morning rush -- bumper- to-bumper traffic. at about 6:30 a.m., a four-car chain reaction accident. >> a fair number of people did divert and take some of the alternate route. the bad news is we have a couple of accidents that did create more congested than we may have had otherwise. >> traffic officials say if it were not for the accident or several others on alternate routes, things should have run much smoother. they are just reminding drivers to be aware. >> don't change lanes or anything like that. that contributes to the reaction. >> everything was fine until we

murder. >> the man accused in st. patrick's day at tacked is being held on half a million dollars bail. he is reportedly the one who threw the punch in the video that knocked out the victim outside the mitchell court house in march. the victim was beaten, robbed, and stripped of his clothing in the whole thing was videotaped and posted online. the attorney says alcohol played a big factor in this case. >> i think everyone was caught up in the emotions of this whole matter. the anger that the viral video generated. >> police are still trying to find three other suspects in connection with the attack. investigators were able to freeze a portion of the video and zoom in on these three people. if you know who or where they are, call baltimore city police. >> no bail for one man facing several sex offense charges. a 14-rolled victim said she had

been sexually abused by him for years. let's go live to central booking for more on the police investigation. >> the accusations are disturbing. the girl claims the abuse started at the age of 12. william sharp is accused of rape and accepting payments from others who came to this house to have sex with a girl. during a hearing at central booking, the judge declared of the rape and other allegations against william sharp extremely serious and called the east baltimore man and expand -- a substantial and extreme risk to public safety. he change the $10 million bail to a nobel status. >> my child wouldn't dare hurt nobody. >> she's defending her son, saying he is a hard worker, providing security on the block. she says the accusations against him are lies. >> my son helped me to be safe,

we'd pollen for a total count of 2151. the mold count was moderate so if you are a allergy sufferers, this is a tough day for you. mild temperatures across the region and mild sunshine pushing temperatures up. there is a cold front approaching which will drop temperatures by almost 20 degrees tomorrow and even further on wednesday. the summer weather is not going to hang around long. the front is remnants of what was a severe outbreak. a much weaker version approaching us and only a few scattered showers. we could use some rain but this front does not look like it will bring a substantial amounts of rain. warmus southwesterly winds ahead of it. the record for us today is 90, but that has to be measured down at the airport. so far, only up to 89.

we will see if they officially hit 90 or not. 89 in the panhandle and on the coast, a nice, comfortable sea breeze at the ocean city. here comes the front -- that narrow line of clouds, maybe a few spotty showers. maybe some thunder as the front makes its way into baltimore. cooler tomorrow with the wind shifting to the northwest. it should be noticeably cooler. winds will shift to the northwest after midnight. the minimal chance of an isolated showers or thunderstorms. we go from the '80s to the cooler '70s along the front. '50s and '60s and even some thirties with snow falling in michigan. it was way too warm for running the marathon in boston.
