and out of the mountains. mostly sunny, breezy with a high temperature around 76 degrees this afternoon. we'll come back and check the forecast going into the weekend. first we say good morning to sarah. >> you are always complaining about the here and humidity -- hair and humidity. doing pretty well in terms of incidents. fire activity we are tracking in glen burnie just pass 648. the rest of the major roadways continue to run smoothly at this hour. 11 minutes on the west side outer loop. 10 minutes to travel south on 95 from the beltway down towards 32. this is the j.f.x. at coldspring lane. southbound traffic looks pretty good at the moment.

this is captain roy from skyteam 11 helping us out once again and showing a smooth ride through the construction zone. we will let you know once that changes and will monitor the j.f.x. for you this morning. utilize those alternates. they will be clogged as we get further into this rush. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> fire crews on the scene of an apartment fire in the glen burnie area. 11 families have been sent out into the night. firefighters arrived where the fire had broken out at one of the ground level apartments. everybody managed to get out safely. no word of what started the fire.

the voice of no-confidence for the police chief. the council voted 4-3 in the indictment of the john leopold. it is believe that the police chief knew about the allegations and failed to do anything about it. two the police unions have alale no-confidence votes against the police chief. unidentified man was found with gunshot wounds. reports of another shooting at around 9:30 on liberty heights avenue. that the victim also died. just before midnight, police were called to west baltimore.

no word on that victim's condition. anyone with information into any of these shootings should call baltimore city police. howard county prosecutors are dropping charges against a man accused of killing his twin brother. they said it would not pursue a second trial. the first trial ended in a mistrial. this happened back in 2007. prosecutors say they did not feel they could get a conviction in what is largely circumstantial evidence. >> one councilman wants to sell advertising on the sides of fire trucks in an effort to save fire companies slated to close. kim dacey has details. >> the councilman introduced

the measure last night after he was inspired by seeing a school bus with advertising on the side. he thinks that this could help the fire department with desperately needed cash to keep open the three fire companies that are scheduled to close. he said he would rely on firefighters to guide the designs. officers want to know more about the proposal. >> i think it will be tastefully done and it should raise enough money so we don't have enough closures or any companies shutting down or anything. we will be able to have public safety in tact in baltimore city. >> if this could help, we are wide open to the idea. >> the councilman is asking that this measure go to a hearing within the next two weeks and that it would pass in time so those three companies did not close. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news.

fire. the county council have passed a no-confidence vote against the police chief, expressing their concern over his ability to lead the department. it is believed he knew about some of the allegations that leopold ms. use his security detail and failed to do anything about it. howard county prosecutors are dropping charges against a man accused of killing his twin brother. prosecutors say they will not pursue a second trial after the first murder trial ended in a mistrial. he was accused of killing his brother back in 2007 after his brother implicated him from stealing from a store. prosecutors do not feel they get a conviction and was largely a circumstantial case.
