searching for his daughter. the girl has been found. police release the identity of the woman accused of stabbing her eight-month year-old girl during a visit with social services. police say the 29-year-old was visiting her daughter at social services when she pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the baby in the neck and upper body. she was taken to the children's center where we are told she isn't fair condition. residents in the area want to know something -- how something like this could happen. >> how can you bring social- service a butcher knife? how did that happen? how did your child gets stabbed? she is supposed to be protected. >> she faces various charges, according attempted first-degree murder and child abuse. an investigation is underway to find out how she got a kitchen knife into the social services

office. one man is dead after police found his wife addressing his wounds on tuesday night. police responded to the 4100 block just after 10:00. that is where they found the victim sitting on a porch, bleeding. suffering at least one gunshot wound to the chest. the man was transferred to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. police make a third arrest and a fourth arrest in the st. patrick's day beating. they arrested 18-year-old deangelo carter. his relatives worked with police to help bring him into custody. he is the third suspect being arrested for the attack of the tourist in downtown baltimore last month. >> i think people are talking about this case from baltimore to new hampshire. it's captivated national attention. that was helpful for us. not only did we get video documented this unspeakable act, but it also energized

people to get involved. >> the fourth suspect, shatia baldwin, has also been arrested. the trout for two baltimore brothers accused of crete -- the trial for to baltimore brothers accused of beating an african- american is set to begin. eli werdesheim and avi werdesheim were supposed to one shot yesterday, but a request for change delayed it. they will opt for a balanced -- a bench trial in baltimore instead. they believe the judge can conduct a fair trial. >> a major ruling from maryland top court could have a big impact on law-enforcement. the court of appeals struck down part of a law letting police collected dna samples from anyone committing a violent crime or trying to commit one.

a very powerful storm. it is moving off shore. hardly a cloud in the sky over the mid atlantic. we are waiting for our next chance for rain. you can see thunderstorms starting to build all the way from wisconsin down to indiana. this is the next round of rain. it will be advancing east as we had to tomorrow. which will win over, that is the big question. are we going to get warmer or colder in the next couple of days. it looks like the storm system will just right down to the atlantic. we basically stay on the boundary of the cold and warm air. if anything, it might just get slightly cooler. here is a look at the severe threat for today. in the from illinois down to kentucky. just turn to get to the appellations tonight. again, it is a long that stationary boundary.

that is allowing for those thunderstorms to form. all of the activities southwest of baltimore through today. we get -- we may get more thunderstorms tomorrow. we will keep an eye on that if anything does change into tomorrow. thus of the futurecast in motion. we are fast forwarding to midnight tonight. and then restarted the showers by tomorrow morning. these are pretty light in nature. as the day goes on were, we could see some heavier showers and thunderstorms. that is something to keep in mind for tomorrow. you could have some sort conditions on the road. for tonight, mostly cloudy skies. we do have a chance for showers by dawn. temperatures down into the upper 40's and the low 50's. here is a look that the 7 day forecast. we do have that chance of thundershowers tomorrow. we talked about how temperatures changed a bit. not a huge dropoff.
