[captioning made possible by constellation energy group] >> i am deborah weiner. baltimore police are still on the lookout for the suspects who shot and killed a man in his front yard. sheldon dutes is live with the latest on the investigation. >> homicide detectives are trying to figure out why the gunman pulled the trigger. they are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything to please come forward. police and neighbors have identified the victim has floyd dorcy. he apparently got into an argument with the suspect in his front yard on norfolk avenue on tuesday night. gunshots were fired. when his wife cannot side, she found him unresponsive. -- when his wife came outside commission down and unresponsive. courts nothing bad to say about him.

convicted violates an individual's fourth amendment right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure. the attorney general says he disagrees with the verdict. >> we allow the police to strip search people arrested for violent crimes. we allow them to take blood samples. we allow them to put fingerprint on the -- fingerprint ink on everybody arrested. surely you can swap their cheap -- swab their cheek. >> the mayor and others are urging him to take it to the supreme court. there's a controversial ruling involving pit bulls. the court held owners of pit bulls or mixes are liable for damages if the dog attacks someone. before the ruling, the victim had to show the dog's owner knew it was dangerous. now it is enough to show the dog is a pit bull to establish a

>> a standoff with a murder suspect in the cascade mountains of washington state is over. the swat team blew up the top of the bunker today and found the body of a man believed to be peter keller. he is accused of murdering his wife and daughter of last week and setting them on fire. police say he spent eight years building the bunker into the side of rattlesnake ridge. school officials say a new jersey teacher accused of verbally abusing a student has been placed on paid leave.

a parent posted clips of secretly recorded audio on youtube of one teacher calling his autistic son names. investigation down to was not in the room when the remarks were made. officials say employees heard on the recording are no longer with the district. an 8-year-old boy from kansas is being recognized for bravery. he was playing games on his computer next to his mother's purse on the couch when he says a man into their home. the suspect made a grab for the purse. >> he came in and yanked on it. i yanked back. he ran out the door. >> he called for his

what this is an editorial. >> maryland students reported more than 4700 cases of bullying in the last academic year. the consequences of cyber bullying have resounded nationwide resulting in suicide and harmful behavior by victims. the white house endorsed a bill last week requiring schools to do more to protect students from online attacks. the safe schools improvement act requires schools to have a code prohibiting the conduct as well as eight reporting standard. they tied it to school funding to ensure compliance. 20% of children and teenagers are victims of this 21st century form of schoolyard bullying. curbing cyber harassment will require joint effort of the school system, parents, and teenagers. all parties must understand that the simple flick of a mouse
