very service was shut down today but is expected to resume later -- ferry service was shut down. in manhattan, organizers are calling for protesters to block several bridges or tunnels connecting manhattan to new jersey and other parts of the city. >> within the last couple of hours, city officials have confirmed they do plan to completely shut down the j.f.x. this week to make emergency repairs. the closures will be overnight, but still significant. rob roblin joins us live from northwest baltimore with more on what can expect. >> let me first of all clarify exactly what will be closed down and when it will start. northbound jones falls expressway will be closed beginning on thursday from 10:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. since april 13, one lane in each direction of the j.f.x. has been

normal. all winter long and out into the spring, you will see the official stats in the computer. 55.3 degrees for the average temperature this month. the normal is 53.7. that is the 15th consecutive month at the airport with warmer than normal temperatures. last time we had a cooler than normal month was january 2011. it has been awhile. we fell short of the rainfall totals that we normally get in april. we only had 1.99 inches and we are supposed to have over 3 inches for the month. 90 degrees was the warmest day back on a 16th, and 32 degrees on the third day of april. we did have a little bit of rain to start the month of may. you see that on the satellite radar composite. the showers moving off the mid- atlantic coast. mixed with a little bit of wet snow to the northeast as they crossed the adirondacks and move into the mountains of northern -- of western maine.
