argument late this evening, at this case is now in the hands of the judge, pamela white. this case lasted about two weeks, and all came to a head when he took to the stand in his own defense. >> he maintained his composure in testified truthfully and honestly. i think he did perfectly. >> his attorney react to his client's testimony wednesday. he maintains a 4.0 gpa at john hopkins university and served three years in the israeli army and said he was just trying to diffuse a situation that turned into a huge misunderstanding. he testified on november 19, 2010 after receiving a radio call on his neighborhood watch radio for a suspicious person on falstaff road. in his car he spotted an african

american teenager who would later be named the alleged victim in this case walking into people's yards and looking through windows. he also said he saw the teenager pulling on the door handles of a silver suv. he said he stopped a car and got out and try to introduce himself when his brother got out and said, "didn't i see you in park heights?" he says he and his brother followed the teenager in his car, and said the teenagers seemed scared and kept looking back at them and ripped a piece of board from a shipping pallets in one of the front yards. he told the court that he wanted to diffuse the situation because he saw a woman walking her dog towards the teenager. he stopped his car, got out, and tried to explain who he was. that is when he said the teenager charged that him with the board. using his self-defense still, he

knocked the teenager down to the ground. in cross-examination, he did admit he could have made a mistake by stopping the teenager the second time around. >> the judge told the court she would render a verdict at 3:00 tomorrow. the brothers are charged with false imprisonment, a second- degree assault, and use of the deadly weapon. these are all misdemeanors. >> meanwhile, the woman who was the voice of the now infamous roebott calls took the stand. ron the russell was one of his employees. she testified she recorded the call at his request. a top aide has been found guilty in connection with his role in the scandal. >> a woman is in shock trauma.

school system, one week after the court ruled the school system had been shortchanged. how well the dollars be spent? >> that is still being worked out, but there are questions. where will the $12 million come from. and if it will affect other county employees. >> will system is looking at where it wants to spend the $12 million. -- the school system is looking at where it wants to spend the $12 million. the county council may have to dip into the general fund to increase the school system's budget. >> other agencies always get hurt. to cut the county executive still has doubts about whether the $12 million will be spent on school children or pay raises. >> we have funded that everything the school board has asked for. the only difference is, they want pay raises.
