orioles take on the rangers tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. and baltimore. how the weather is looking for that -- showers and clouds this weekend. let's check with john collins. >> those clouds it could be an issue. it kept the temperatures down to it. a little sprinkle activity this morning. here is the forecast for that game for tomorrow evening. it is an evening game, 7:00. we expect clouds and temperatures in the mid 60's with the southeast breeze running at 11 miles an hour. assuming it does not go 17 innings. it usually goes three hours. we expect temperatures to be in the 60's. 62 at the airport. 65 at the inner harbor. we have some clouds. what we have now is what we expect tomorrow evening during the game. we will see how that turns out to. >> thank you. fire investigators are trying to determine what sparked an early morning fire that sent three

children to the hospital. the fire happened at 2:30 this morning on west lexington street. live at shock trauma. >> those children are 11-12-and 15. a family member tells us that two of the children are on ventilators because they inhaled so much smoke. >> we just lost everything. >> an early-morning fire may have to trick -- destroyed her home but she is grateful that her brothers and sisters were rescued from the burning building. if she was not home at the time, but she is proud of her brother. onhe's my -- he laid them the ground and helped them. he's a big hero. >> i saw the smoke coming of the house. saying, somebody hear hellp us.

>> the firefighters found them in a clause. the children were unconscious and somewhat responsive. >> the children were rescued from a fire fighter - by the fire fighter. we attended resuscitation on the scene. >> the children are in serious condition. investigators are trying to determine how the fire started and where their parents were. on west lafayette street, the fire station. the team as part of the rescue but the truck's future remains uncertain. it is one of three apparatus that could be off the street because the city is trying to save money. >> we need to keep these companies here. certainly we know that the mayor is trying her best with economic times we are under. we know they are hard. weber, if we are given the lesser of two evils, will take a rotating closures. >> in the 800 block of west

lexington, she is -- >> we will recover. thank you. >> now a spokesman for the fire department released a lengthy statement this evening. it said they acknowledge there are budget restraints and they are not advocating for less resources. the statement also said in part that they are fortunate to have dedicated men and women who are committed to making the department run efficiently 24/7. in closing the department's statement said that they acknowledge proposed budget cuts that would close some of their city apparatus and take them off the street. three pieces of equipment would be off the street. even with the impact, they are confident that they will continue the same level of service to the community, since all fire companies would be fully operational 24/7. that is coming from a spokesman for the fire department. the pictures you saw came from a sibling of the victims of the

fire. they are expected to be released. one from the hospital tomorrow. the two are in serious condition. >> thank you. a rector who was critically wounded after being shot at her ellicott city church has died. henerend mary margaret coeh was shot along with another church worker on thursday. the man could have been upset after being turned away from the paris food pantry. cohen was kept alive on life support server organs could be donated. >> she was a very giving person. it has always been her intend to give for organs. barely alive when she was discovered and kept alive on life support. unfortunately, she was -- she had no brain function when she

got to the hospital. >> funeral services will be held for both women later this week. baltimore county police asking for help in locating a man suffering from dementia. police say robert macaulay walked away from a nursing home in the 9100 block of liberty road. he is white, 66, 115 pounds. he was last seen wearing a checkered shirt, gray pants, and black tennis shoes. also in baltimore county, crews responded to the scene of a car accident that turned deadly. the accident happened along the 1400 block of jarret stsville park. the victim was pronounced dead when crews alive. a tentative trial date has been set for next year for the five defendants charged in the 9/11 attacks. after yesterday's arraignment radon's to -- for 13 hours, defense lawyers are speaking out

today about their clients' motives. >> at guantanamo bay, it was a difficult day for a military judge and a painful one for the family of the 9/11 victims. the accused mastermind sheik mohammed will be formally arraigned on charges that they would have applauded the attack. they were defined, repeatedly refusing to answer the judge's questions. one of the defendants stood up and disrupted the proceedings shouting and suggesting that guards at guantanamo were trying to kill him. the judge moved the case forward and agreed to hear the defense motion to delay the trial for up to a year. meanwhile, the defense lawyers held a press conference. >> these men have indoor years of inhumane treatment and torture if. this treatment has had serious

this morning. basically our weather is coming from the west and it will start maybe tomorrow night and more likely on tuesday. some big storms out west with this disturbance. arcing up into the great lakes. probably we will see two of text -- a lot of clouds. that will continue into tomorrow. at a higher level, these storms that are coming over the great lakes wil lpour some clouds during the day tomorrow. we will have some clouds at the lower level from the east at a higher level coming out of the northwest. does not look like we will see a lot of sunshine tomorrow. eventually, some of this rain will catch up with us as well. let's take a look at what happened during the day today. 72 it is the high, despite the fact that we had almost no sunshine. a few breaks in the cloud was about it. bwi, 72. inner harbor 73. a trace of precipitation.

morning lows around 60 degrees. right now 62 in annapolis. 54 in cambridge. 53 at ocean city. the east wind is pulling in cooler temperatures. 62 at front row. in the 60's out in western maryland. satellite image shows these big storm clusters out to the west. the storm center which is out of the mississippi river now will slowly be moving east. we have this easterly flow of air coming which will continue to bring us moisture at all low- level some clouds and gfog in the morning hours. the warmer air tries to get in tuesday and wednesday. are overnight forecast -- clouds, 53-57. east-southeast winds.

temperatures rise tomorrow, but again, with all of the cloud cover, put a cap around 70. a few areas near the bay might be closer than that. warmer temperatures off to the west and the mountains will have a bit more sunshine. cloudy tomorrow, a few sprinkles concentrated in the morning. 67-72, the high. southeast winds at 5-10 miles per hour. a small craft advisory for tomorrow with the 1 ft. chop on average. the 7 day forecast. tomorrow, 70 with the highest rain chances on tuesday and wednesday. on and then off again showers and thunderstorms. a little breezy on thursday, a little bit cooler. then going into next weekend, it looks dyry. >> if you are ready to send your kids back to school tomorrow after a long weekend, keep this in mind.

parents are happier than people without children. this is according to a new study presented at the population association's annual meeting. researchers surveyed 130,000 adults including 52,000 parents. they found parents are happier than non-parents and have been as levels change with each child. researchers claim the first child increases have been as a lot. the second child a little. and the third not at all. another way to increase your happiness of all -- go out and job. people who run for one hour a week reported a sense of well- being. that according to a copenhagen heart study. regular jogging eds more than six years to the life expectancy of men and 5.5 for women. if you have considered jogging in order to save on gas, there is good news. a survey said the average price of a gallon of gas fell 7 cents
