beltway. 50 at sandy point, a nice start as you travel across the bay bridge. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> police find a woman's body in a car near arundel mills mall. she is in their early 20's and was found behind the satellite building. it is not clear how long she had been there. a man is behind bars after a run in with police in salisbury. two vehicles were attempting to stop an suv. the officers opened fire. a man was treated for gunshot wounds and is charged with attempted second-degree murder and reckless endangerment. detectives investigating a pair

of deadly shootings. officers arrived around 2:30 on sunday afternoon to find the victim shot in the head. he did not survive. another shooting in west baltimore. an adult victim had been shot several times on eutaw place around 2:45 this morning. >> three children were rescued from a burning home early on sunday morning. this happened in west baltimore. kim dacey is live. what can you tell us about the injuries? >> the children are 11, 12, 15. two were in serious condition at last check. two are on ventilators because of the smoke they inhaled. it started around 2:30 at the

home in west baltimore. firefighters found the three children in a closet. the children were somewhat responsive and were rushed to the hospital. the older sister, tyreka dodd, was not at home at the time but is calling her older brother a hero. >> he just laid down on the ground and got on the top of them. he was the big hero. >> investigators are still working to determine what started the fire and where the parents were. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a second person has died following a shooting in ellicott city. reverend mary-marguerite kohn was a rector and was shot along with another woman by homeless man on thursday. the man could have been upset after being turned away because

>> good morning. 59 degrees. there are a few clouds in the skies. we could see more sunshine today. we're talking about the women's coalition -- women's housing coalition fundraising happening on monday here at nick's fish house. it is located on the patapsco river. you're a board member with the housing coalition. this began as a grass-roots effort to provide housing for women that are homeless. how big of a need is it in baltimore? >> there is a lot of homelessness in baltimore. people think of homeless people as only men and there are a lot of women and children out there. we have a variety of houses that women and children stay in.

we help them with getting jobs and with health care so they can become full members of society and get back to work and get on with their lives. >> this fund-raiser is a way to celebrate and to raise those funds for the much needed housing for women in the community. >> we need as many people as possible to come out to nick's fish house. this will be so much fun. we will have prizes and auctions and the food will be fabulous. you have seen felicia cooks some already. >> we will be previewing some of the auction items. housing.org.s this sounds like fun. steel drums.

crime show. police investigating the murder on the grounds of the kentucky derby. a body was found in a barn. victim is a worker at the track, 48 years old. a fire in san francisco. it began around 10:00 a.m. in the mission district. the number of people this place could grow as people return to the building from the weekend. nobody was injured. overseas financial markets are tumbling. francois hollande defeated nicolas sarkozy in sunday's election. firstde is france's socialist president in years.

the leaders in greece have called for changes in terms of the bailout. one party wants to overturn the deal. >> it is back to work for congress as they focus on a college loans. interest rates are set to double on july 1. the democratic plan would keep rates where they are. republicans want to vote on their own bill which would freeze the current rates for one-year. you cannot believe everything you read on the internet. the same holds true for the face of it. one of every four lies about something on facebook. sometimes it is about privacy.

crash near dulaney valley road. >> julius henson is expected to return to the witness stand today in his own defense. he told jurors on friday he was hired to turn of the african american vote. he tried to suppress the vote by turning out a call telling voters in baltimore city that they didn't need to vote. police are asking for help locating a man who is missing. he suffers from dementia. he walked away from a nursing home on liberty road. he is a white male that is 5 feet 6 inches tall and was last seen wearing a pair black tennis shoes. contact baltimore county police if you have seen him. >> a local company said they
