condition. family members tell us they are on ventilators because of the smoke they inhaled. >> we lost everything. >> a fire may have destroyed her home, but she is grateful her brothers and sisters or rested. she was not home at the time, but she is proud of for 15-year- old brother. >> he just laid them on the ground and got on top of them to help them. he was a big hero. beth >> i saw the smoke coming out of the house. i am hollering their names. somebody is saying, help us. i could not see. >> they found the 11-year-old and the 12-year-old in a closet. half the children were somewhat responsive. >> there were rescued. handed over to the care of paramedics to immediately began resuscitation efforts. >> they're rushed to the

a burglar drives an suv right through the window of a rent-a- center. security camera shows a video of that crash. you can see the person get out. of the burglars stole a $3,000 tv and dropped it on the way out. so, it may be a little damage. a potential trial date is set for the man accused of plotting the september 11 attack. he repeatedly refused to answer the judge's question. there would not even here headset's -- wear headsets to hear translations. they say they were protesting 11 years of unfair treatment. >> the united states is committed to accountability under law for those who have plotted to attack our nation and to kill innocent people. >> of these men have endured years of inhumane treatment and torture. it has had long-term affects and will ultimately affect every

getting thicker. the couple light showers showing up right now. there will likely fall apart as you move out of the mountains. not expecting much more than that. let's of the temperature is right now. those have definitely been held down because of all the clouds. if we are struggling to get into the mid 60's. we started in the upper 50's. we've not climbed much in the last few hours. off 64 as you head into frederick and also in the 50's and at 60's as you head into northeast maryland. a few areas that saw a little bit of sunshine, the have been able to warm up much more than that. here is a look at what we expect for the rest of your afternoon and evening. most areas are exempt from that. temperatures will be dropping into the lower 60's as we head towards 9:00 p.m.

overnight, expect things to stay mostly cloudy. temperatures in the mid 50's in the suburbs. maybe 60 degrees of downtown. it could be a lot colder in the beginning of may. good thing we're not done with a major cold snap right now. if showers are mostly up to the north. this is bringing at least an of instability for the clouds, but really not enough to see substantial rain. a new system is likely to see some rain. right now it is just trying to push into the ohio valley. it will take some time until it gets here. let's put the futurecast in motion. any showers we get throughout the day tomorrow will be associated with warm fronts. they are not really why that spread. the actual cold front comes in, that is when we could see substantial rain here in baltimore.
