shooting that took place after 8:00 at the 1900 block of edge water drive. investigators are sorting out the taus but one male victim was taken to a hospital with several gunshot wounds. another man was taken to another hospital and is undergoing surgery. a third victim is receiving treatment but his or her injuries are anon. no word on exactly what led to the shooting. >> baltimore police are sending out a community alert in northeast baltimore where a suspect or suspects have burglarized several homes and they say that these burglars have a pattern. kai reed has the details. >> police have been going door to door in these neighborhoods passing out safety tips and warning neighborhoods the suspects have been striking in broad daylight. all of them have been northeast baltimore, at least eight.

the suspects have a pattern. they start with a knock on the door. >> when they received no answer, they are going to the rear of the location. either through an unlocked back door, a window, or they are forcing it opened. >> police have responded to the burglaries in five communities. this block has been hit three times. homes in pioneer drive have been burglarized twice. police are not sure how many people they are looking for but the pattern suggests the same people may be responsible for all of them. there is the possibility. we really want to get word out to always lock your doors and windows. >> if he noticed strangers, called police immediately. she has lived here for 25 years and says she is not taking any
