suspects after a kidnapping and robbery. it is the second in three months. >> victims were forced to withdraw money from atms. we are live with more on the investigation. >> the most recent case was early saturday morning. police had descriptions of the suspects. there was a possible connection between this case and a similar case three months ago. the two suspects were on a corner at 2:15. they forced the victim to hand over his money. >> they forced him to go to a nearby atm and asked him to take out more money. >> the second location was near this intersection. police are still looking for the suspect. they are investigating a possible connection to another robbery about three months ago. in that case, two suspects forced a man to an atm near york

water pumping system. this was a sophisticated operation. >> the man faces several charges. investigators busted the operation after receiving an anonymous tip. they found 341 marijuana plants. they are worth more than five and a dozen dollars. baltimore city police confirmed that the men worked as a non- police crime lab technician. a new report says medicare paid more than $5 billion to thousands of policies with questionable billing practices. the report reveals a pharmacies were vulnerable to fraud and abuse in the medicare prescription drug program. in baltimore, there is a twist. painkillers' being classified

as controlled substances account for the spike of total prescriptions filled. no policies were named. the offices they will be investigating. >> and man is behind bars. deputies say he was the triggerman in a triple shooting. deputies arrested the 28-year- old and filed civil charges against him, including attempted second-degree murder. he shot three men in the 900 block of edgewater drive. one victim remains in the hospital. the other two have been released. the shooting stemmed from a longstanding dispute. having the police snapped a photo of you is not good. special detectives say they rounded up 20-year olds for their role in a prostitution ring. police say they made the

discovery after tracking and ed posted on a social media bulletin board. a permanent home for the man convicted of killing an off-duty state trooper. he was sentenced to life without parole plus 25 years for the shooting death of leslie browne. brown was working as a part-time security officer. he threw williams act of the restaurant. williams came back later. a planet is in place to find a successor to the outgoing police commissioner. they're using a panel of experts and an outside source to conduct research. they will search for the person who best fits that position. one woman says they would like to see a replacement chosen prior to departure, which is slated for august.

george clooney. donors are paying $40,000 to attend. in seattle, the president asked americans to back same-sex marriage. >> making sure that everybody, regardless of sexual orientation, is treated fairly, you will have a chance to weigh in on this. [applause] we are a nation that treat people fairly. >> republicans say they are more focused on jobs and the economy. both sides say only a small number of voters will decide their vote on the issue. would you get back more income if he lived in another state? a new study is suggesting maryland is one of the best in the country for economic opportunity. compared to workers nationwide, maryland saw its 21% average gain in earnings. that is compared with 17% nationwide. the only other two states where

new jersey and new york. the study did not explain why certain states did better than others. they noted education and the types of jobs acquired. all local officials are hoping that residents pumped in extra cash from summer vacation. there is a new push to create jobs and spur economic growth. we look at what is in store. >> from the white house today, the tour is a mandate, a plan to boost travel to and within the united states. >> it is all part of the focus on job creation. >> international travelers are a focus, increasing numbers from 50 million to 100 million by 2021. and visitors who would spend $250 billion while they are here. >> it translates into millions of jobs in america. they cannot be exported.

a first of its kind program for families who have autism is creating a safety net for those kids in case of an emergency. we are live at police headquarters with more on the state of so first 911 flagging system. >> behavior varies from child to child. under this system, first responders will have specific information about the child before they arrive. it will help in emergency situations. this woman was worried the night her son wandered away. >> it was five minutes. after 15 minutes and 20 minutes, it got terrifying. especially when you think about a child who is unable to defend himself. >> single has autism. his parents think he may have left the house through a back

door. >> it is black at night. he wandered out onto the drive. >> he was missing for an hour. he was found three-quarters of a mile away. station signed up for the new 911 system . it allows parents to share information about their children that would help first responders. such as, a favorite hiding places or hesitation. >> the characterization's may be different. we want first responders to know what may be specific. >> the program was launched by the howard county autism society in collaboration with the police department. it is also the first of its kind in the state. some people may be reluctant to share information. she would still recommend that the program. >> as much information as they can be armed with, they can know those things about that person.
