it is in the mid 60's where i'm standing. ,'m in front of the stakes barn or all of the horses are sta ying. maryland is and always synonymous with producing winning race horses. we visited a local farm last week to see them preparing for the preakness. it was established in 1925. it is now under new ownership. there has been a long-term restoration plan to restore the legacy of the farm. it has three horses that will be competing in the preakness this weekend. the farm has undergone a great deal of restoration. they redid their training track.

we cannot take rain completely out of the forecast. a front has stalled. there are a few thunderstorms trying to prop up north and south. most of the watergate dry morning commute. another front will sweep through here this evening and take this off the coast -- most of you will have a dry morning commute. a mixture of sun and clouds. 30% chance for some rain. high temperatures into the 80's this afternoon. 80-85. if you take the boat out, be careful watching for lightning. the next high tide and fort mchenry is set for o'clock 23 this afternoon. the skies should clear overnight -- 4:23.
