leave the scene. there call command just before 3:00 this bordick. they found fire coming through the first floor window and they had to rescue a man who was trapped inside. >> the first arriving units on the scene, we had five is showing. they went in and to gain access to the door and found inside and brought him out to a safe area until paramedics arrived. >> the victim was taken to johns hopkins bayview burn center. he had burns on his side. fire investigators are trying to determine what started this fire. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> city police are investigating a possible arson after they say someone might have thrown it molotov cocktail

inside a building. crews responded to the 1100 block of barclay street early on sunday morning after the building caught fire. one person was injured but is expected to be ok. police have no suspects at this time. >> a police officer is recovering this morning. police were called to around 5:30 on saturday evening about a possibly mentally troubled young man. according to police, maurice holloman attacked an officer. another officer shot and killed maurice holloman. the injured officer is expected to recover. another police officer is recovering from injuries. there was an accident 2:00 on sunday afternoon at walker avenue. >> sports fans are counting down

remains in the hands of a jury. jury deliberations will resume today about whether edwards broke campaign finance laws. jurors made request for more evidence. if convicted, he faced up to 30 years in prison. a man will be sentenced for 15 criminal counts including bias intimidation. he was accused of using a webcam to spy on his roommate at wreckers. he faces up to 10 years in prison. >> a tornado touched down in kansas. a storm chaser shot this video of the tornado. it destroyed several homes in eight rural area outside of

map. mother nature does not have a calendar. this is a tropical storm alberto off the south carolina coast. it will drift around and move offshore. this area of low pressure is coming by sure in the delmarva region. we have high pressure to the north. the flow is going east to west. we have this onshore flow that is producing some showers this morning. take an umbrella. you can see the showers moving from east to west. this will be with us for the next 24 hours. some of the showers are producing a brief periods of rain. the heaviest rain is offshore. with the east wind, it will be hard for the temperatures to move. 65 degrees at the airport.
