southbound traffic is building down towards the beltway. this is 95 at 175. no delays. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> a house fire overnight in northeast baltimore and sends one person to the hospital. >> the fire started just after 3:00 a.m. this morning. kim dacey is live on the scene. what is the status? >> all of the fire crews have packed up and left. there were fire and police on the scene earlier. fire crews did get on the scene just before it 3:00 this morning. we're on mcclain boulevard. they found fire coming out of the first floor windows of the home. they had to go when side and rescue a man who was trapped

inside. >> the first arriving units on the scene -- we had five showing. they went in to gain access to the door and found him inside and brought him out to a safe area until paramedics arrived. >> the victim was taken to johns hopkins bayview burn center. fire investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> city police say they are looking for an arsonist who struck on sunday. investigators believe somebody threw a molotov cocktail on this building at the 1100 block of barclay street. >> the investigation continues into the boat crashed on sunday night near the key bridge. several people were sent into

the water. everybody was rescued but three people were injured. new details in the police- involved shooting. the victim has been identified as 31-year-old maurice holloman. police say he was acting erratically. at anortedly laununged officer and reach for his weapon. another police officer is recovering after being injured in a collision. the crash happened before 2:00 p.m. on sunday afternoon on a walker avenue. no word on if any charges will be filed. >> a security guard is accused of taking the law into his own hands. police say the guard at the restaurant broke the victim's

the other big story was the eclipse. here's some video. this is from nevada. it was not a total eclipse. you can see a partial eclipse as far east as ohio. it was quite a sight. we have a tropical storm developed over the weekend off the carolina coast, alberto. it is a minimal tropical storm. it will drift offshore and not bother us. the flow is coming from the east to the west. we have rain showers comment on towards baltimore. they will be drifting in all day today.

was diagnosed with terminal cancer. he maintained his innocence in the bombing. the plane went down and lockerbie, scotland in 1988. a prison guard is killed and five others injured every prison riot in mississippi. it is not clear what touched off the violence. three inmates were injured in that effort. the power of the tornado was displayed on camera. it damaged several homes 50 miles southwest of wichita. at least 17 tornadoes were seen in the area. there were no injuries fortunately.

getting ready for their big fund raiser. i showed you some of the dance i will be doing. this sounds like a fun event. i'm here with roger larsen, the executive and director. you've been with the tuerk house for nine months. the plan to dance -- do you plan to dance? >> yes. >> what role does the tuerk house play in this event? >> about 65,000 people in the city are affected by a substance abuse. we serve about 1200 folks a year. we have served over 24,000. we serve people who are homeless and usually don't have
