we have some of fire department activity on old mill road in pasadena. 11 minutes in the outer loop northeast side. same thing on the west side. temin's to travel south on 95 from the beltway towards 32. captain roy is flying above the beltway on the southwest corner near 95. you can see volume is picking up just a bit. here's the topside at perring parkway. no delays to or from the harrisburg expressway. if you travel anywhere else, pretty smooth conditions and that includes here on 95 at 395. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> state delegate pat mcdonough says he is not backing down from recent comments about what he calls black youth mobs running

right in the streets. >> jennifer franciotti is live at city hall. singling out is singl the mayor in this issue. >> he says unless she starts enforcing the nighttime curfew on teenagers, she should be forced to resign. pat mcdonough is talking about these roving mobs of black youths. he says it is unacceptable. he says it is scaring families and tourists away from some parts of the city. some are calling for him to resign for injecting race into his complaints about city crime. pat mcdonough said there is no need to apologize for stating the facts. >> problems we are addressing -- street crimes and the mob action and violence are black people. they're black kids. that is it. >> the mayor says that he's

trying to call attention away from the racially infused comments. the mayor is point to the good work that the police department is doing to reduce crime. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. after being released from jail, gary giordano is in hot water with police in annapolis. he was arrested on friday after he was allegedly being spotted naked with a woman in the back of this as you the. police were called after being tipped off about sexual activity. >> i went out to look around and found a black suv and found the work tw people in the back presumably doing something they should not. there was some clothing missing so-called the officers. giordano and his

companion were charged with indecent exposure. a man is accused of disguises himself as a baltimore police station policeng a reports. if you have had an encounter with him, you're asked to call baltimore county police. >> concerned b.g.e. customers to give utility officials and their fall over the installation of the new outsmart meters. some say the new meters pose health risks. the utility insist the devices pose no additional health risk and put out last reuter frequencies than microwaves and cell phone. >> they want us to help them become more energy efficient and to restore power as quickly as we can.

we're talking about today -- where live at the harford county public library where we're talking about the latest exhibit from the smithsonian. i'm with the foundation director of the library. what a neat concept for an exhibit especially if kids are getting at of school. >> we're thrilled to be hosting the exhibit here at harford county. it is a fabulous partnership with the smithsonian institute. it explores the intersection of travel migration and immigration in harford county. we're watching a cultural marathon with 12 speakers and over 50 programs. >> this saves you a journey down

to d.c. we are standing out front of the out west exhibit. so many other journeys we're talking about. >> we took pieces from the smithsonian exhibit here and we explore the many local way. you can learn about the underground railroad in harford county. even the canning industry. >> this is available through july. there are so offshoots of this in other locations of harford county. you can find more online. we will go back to tony in the weather center. you can play a game here. this was the first computer game i ever played. >> kind of cool.

if you're a history buff, maryland is a good place to live. thank you very much. things have calmed down. kind of interesting what happened last night. watch these thunderstorms fall apart after they come out of the mountains. now there are a couple sprinkles around washington, d.c. there is some fog that is the thickest over the eastern shore counties. we're watching a storm system coming up to the carolinas. that will drift over into our neighborhood this afternoon. showers and thunderstorms will redevelop and some could produce a lot of rain. rain will come back later on. take an umbrella with you. 64 at the airport. 64 degrees in randallstown. a mixture of sun and clouds.

secret service will answer about the recent scandals that have disgraced the detail. the director is expected to defend the secret service. the sex scandal resulted in the resignation of seven agents. five people are dead in oregon. a mother and her three children were found inside their home dead. the father's body was later found inside an suv 80 miles away. officials are still trying to piece together exactly what happened. >> where you'll be staying more of the weekend is likely not a hotel. 2500 online travelers or server it and found a 39% plan to sleep at a hotel, motel, or better breakfast -- or a bed and

>> now traffic pulse 11 and insta-weather plus together. >> good morning. sarah caldwell checking on your morning commute. we're looking at several accidents at this hour. a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles northbound 83, north of the beltway. as you get on to the ramp, you may start to see some delays north of the beltway on 83. they're pretty road, we have an accident. that is a fender bender. energy parkway, another accident. in pasadena, watch for fire activity at old mill road. as far as delays, we start with 83 north of the beltway. in terms of traffic, 83 is where we will probably see some delays shortly. no sign of them yet.

at city hall this morning. how was the mayor responding to all the criticism and the call for her to resign? >> right now she says the focus needs to be on the good work that she believes the police department is doing to reduce juvenile crime. >> mayor pat mcdonough says the mayor has the real power to make a difference and she should step down unless she takes action. a 911 call painted patterson park as a riot zone. >> i want to make a report. 50 kids are fighting in the park. >> that type of case is what pat mcdonough says is scaring tourists away from parts of the city, including the inner harbor. >> if baltimore city does not overcome crime, crime will overcome baltimore city.

man pretending to be one of them. donald church to your is accused of disguises himself as a police officer in st. mary's county, flashing a police badge and carry realistic-looking -- carry a realistic-looking toy gun. after being released from a jail in connection with the disappearance of his traveling companion, gary giordano is in hot water with police in annapolis. he was arrested on friday after he was allegedly spotted naked with a woman in the back of this suv in downtown annapolis. both giordano and his companion has been charged with indecent exposure. >> people have been confused with other people all the time but what if you're confused with a criminal?

this accident is now clear that energy parkway. we are seeing some delays on the j.f.x., a 26 miles per hour down to the construction zone. old mill road in pasadena, watch for fire department activity. if you travel on westbound 100, we're starting to see a delay on our map. sky team 11 it is flying over the j.f.x. and it doesn't appear to be too bad at this hour. we will keep monitoring this. things are starting to get heavy down at 29th street. this is southbound traffic and it is building just a bit heavier as to get closer to owings mills. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. we check in live with ava marie. she has changed hats again.
