triple shooting in east baltimore. one of the victims is a 10-year- old child. the shots were fired around 9:30 last night on east hoffman street. police say the victims are all being treated for gunshot wounds to the legs. >> we're not sure at this point who the targets were. we have a 10-year-old who has been injured as a result. detectives are looking to find the suspects and bring them to justice. >> he got shot in the leg. for the person who did this, i hope you turn yourself in. and have remorse for the little boy that was shot. >> anyone with information on the shooting should give police a call. a man and woman were both

stabbed on west saratoga street on 3:30 monday afternoon. the extent of their injuries is not known. the towson university is in mourning this morning. 22-year-old matthew cheswick was crossing coastal highway early monday morning when an suv struck him. the driver of the suv fled the scene. witnesses follow the vehicle until police arrived to make an arrest. >> it is a loss that's difficult to overcome. >> police have charged diogo facchini with homicide by vehicle while intoxicated and other offenses. >> a victim was taken to johns

hopkins medical center. police are investigating another case of a homemade bottle bomb. the combination of the chemicals cause a gas buildup that leads to an explosion. the latest incident happened in front of a home in edgemere. homeowner picked up the contraption not knowing it was an explosive. >> it was warm and that's when i knew something was wrong. it exploded when i turned away. >> the man was not injured. anyone with information about the case should call police. >> after a long primary ballot, mitt romney is expected to make it official today.

in baltimore. cooler for ocean city, 83 with mostly sunny skies. partly cloudy skies anywhere west of that and a chance for a thunderstorm as a cold front approaches the area. the mountain state cooler, 70's spirit more showers and storms earlier into the night -- the mountain stays cooler, 70's with more showers and storms. we will see the temperatures continue to drop into the wheee. hardly a cloud in the sky. a stationary boundary up to the north. a cold front is on the way. it will bring some relief from the heat and humidity. all the way down into mis souri.
