find a suspect it the baltimore county call center received a call from a female student who said she saw someone with a handgun on campus. the incident unfolded in the north water into campus which is known as west hill apartments for the two were sitting in a car together when he started waving a gun. police tell us that two were acquaintances. it appears she has not been harmed and is being questioned by police. police have been searching for the suspect on campus, even going into residence halls room by room. at the time, police believe they have a weapon in their possession. university police chief believes the suspect has left the campus. >> we have reason to believe that the subject is no longer on our campus and has moved off of our campus and in conjunction and collaboration with the baltimore county police department, our officers and the baltimore county police officers are still actively searching for

that person and we're optimistic about finding him. >> when word came down about the possible gunmen, the university issued an alert to students asking them to stay indoors and the light coming to campus. this was an isolated incident. campus has not been close. we are in the middle of a summer session so there is not as many students. it appears on business as usual as they continue to search for the suspects to believe as left the campus. we will be here all afternoon and will bring you the latest coming up at 5:00 and 6:00. >> thank you. we're following another developing story and this one is in annapolis. police are investigating an alleged sex assault in annapolis british victim says she was walking along a federal highway last saturday night when she except a ride from a male stranger. she says the suspects stopped his pickup truck along the shoulder and assaulted her.

she was able to get free and get allbritton with information should call the sex offense unit . >> harford county police have discovered remains near a church and have a suspect. it appears the discovery is the latest twist in what was a missing persons case. the remains were found inside a dumpster outside the trimble road sanctuary monday night. -- wednesday night. the rest of the body was found a mile down the road and the victim was identified as kujoe bonsafo agyei-kodie, a 30-7 -- a 37-year-old jogger disappeared last friday. >> they said he had left to go jogging with that any of his personal effects. they had not seen him and the reported him missing. >> investigators charge the victims roommate, alexander can you after finding additional remains and a home.

motorcycle crashed into the back of a car in howard county. the 25-year-old was exiting route 100 onto northbound 29 in calicut city before 10:00 last night when he hit the back bay car slowing down for traffic. he was wearing a helmet but was pronounced dead at the scene. the driver of the car was not injured. the ramp was closed for a few hours but reopened just before 1:00 this morning. >> we had a little cold front go through this morning and that got rid of the humidity and it is still warm but noticeably nicer without humidity. 31% at the airport. a nice breeze coming out of the northwest and the forecast today is mostly sunny and warm but not humid with the high temperature 85. the weather will get bumpy tomorrow and will check the forecast for the rest of the weekend in a few minutes. >> and other local marine loses his life while fighting in

." >> avon day in the northwest after a man killed six people. in a cafe, 5 -- six people were shot and five died. an officer spotted a man matching the suspect's description and a man shot himself and died at the hospital. no word on what motivated the man to go on this shooting spree. you have to see this to believe it. a pickup truck crashes through it minnesota bar. you can see a few people at the bar wednesday after a man and then the truck comes slamming into the bar knocking several pigeons off flat. police believe the driver had a medical condition and loss

here is the weather set up -- we have the system going off the coast and that front is moving away. it is pulling away into the atlantic and high pressure briefly took control this afternoon. the next alarm system, and bothers later this week. -- the next storm system comes in later this week. there will be thunder storms from chicago downed trees houston. some of those are severe, down in the southern plains and in milwaukee it looks like this set up for us on the east coast is pretty good for some severe weather on friday afternoon. the start production center things everywhere from central pennsylvania down to the carolinas has a chance for some large hail and wind gusts over 60 miles per hour a even a slight chance for tornadoes. the best chance for that kind of activity will be down in southern maryland and virginia during the day tomorrow.

as this set of moves north, that would include the baltimore area so you have to watch this closely for tomorrow afternoon. there could be big thunderstorms. today is quiet, mostly sunny, less humid and the temperatures are from below 80's to the mid 80's. if you go boating today it will be quite beautiful. if you are going to the ocean this weekend, scattered showers and thunderstorms on friday afternoon and the rain will linger into the morning hours on saturday and it should clear up for the rest of the weekend. temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70's. that is the same story around baltimore. a thunderstorm friday afternoon and into friday night and there would be real early morning showers and that should clear up and most of the weekend will be dry and high temperatures in the mid 70's. >> if you managed to avoid
