cannibalism. >> he admitted to killing the person and cutting them o -- putting him up with a knife. he asserted that he had his internal organisms, specifically his heart and parts of his brain. >> kujoe agyei-kodie rented a town house upon by the kinyua family. he was arrested following an assault inside his dorm room. the victim was reported missing last friday, and police got a call from one of the suspect's family members about a gruesome discovery in the basement. >> a human head, at two human hands. >> the tenant may have potentially confessed to killing the man with a knife, eating his organs, -- he eventuall -- the kenyan native to eventually confessed to killing the man with a knife and eating his organs.

>> killing someone and then cooking their body parts, and eating it, the magnitude of the problem goes beyond the characterological defect. >> police say the investigation is not over. the suspect's family members' accounts of the disappearance of not catching up, so they are wondering if somebody else was involved in the crime or at the very least involved in covering it up. >> meantime, state police are looking to identify more victims in the case of a man accused of taking pictures of children inside public bathrooms. 28-year-old brian williams of pennsylvania is charged with taking pictures of children inside two estop bathrooms at i- 95 -- two rest stop bathrooms on

i-95. authorities saw him taking a picture of the boys using a rebel at the rest stops. -- a restroom at the bus stops. they are asking anyone who may have been at the bus stops between noon and 4:00 p.m. to come forward. the war of words continues between baltimore county delegate pat mcdonough and mayor stephanie rawlings-blake. it comes after five boys and one girl attacked a 50-year-old federal employee at hopkins plaza. police say the group punched and kicked the victim but did not steal anything. wednesday morning, another fight broke out on the sidewalk at charles and lombard streets between two groups of a juvenile is. the delicate accuses the mayor of ignoring an escalating problem. >> they are too busy engaging in name calling. the rawlings-blake administration wants to play the

race card and some people in the media, not tv, want to play the demonization card. i want to play the "let's fix the problem" card. >> the mayor's office responded, "mcdonough should debate himself and his colleagues, who voted for deep cuts as a result of the doomsday budget." panel members will hold their first meeting to address gambling in the state. they will meet in annapolis in hear presentations from casino licensees on proposals, including table games in maryland casinos. the panel will weigh in on the potential construction of a casino in prince george's county and come up with ideas for a special session in july. >> there is not a whole lot happening, weather-wise, at the present time, but that could change in the afternoon hours.

humidity has been going up all morning. dew points are now in the 60's. the atmosphere is going to use that moisture to cook up thunderstorms this afternoon. we see hints of it down in virginia. these will become more numerous and head up towards baltimore later this afternoon and evening, and some of those contained wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour. there's a chance of a few tornadoes this evening as well. i will explain it all when we come back in the main weather assignment in a few minutes. >> students attending maryland state universities should brace for a tighter pinch. for the third straight year, tuition is going up for those students. the board of regents for the state university system announced a 3% hike on thursday. the additional revenue would report of the make up for shortfalls in the budget. officials said that the

proposed $2 billion operating budget for next year includes more than $5 million in cuts, but that still was not enough. under the new plan, the president of each campus will decide how to implement each cut. the university system will face a $5 million reduction in its reserve fund. a much anticipated indication of how it economy is doing -- government released its jobs report for may, and the news is not what economists had expected. tracie potts runs down the numbers. >> the nation's unemployment rate picked up to 8.2% today, but the bigger story is the number of jobs created will. we 69,000, less than half of what economists predicted. >> i was just wrong. >> job numbers for the last two months were less than originally thought. it looked like things have been improving, but more people may now be looking for work.

the surface. you get thunderstorms to develop an atmosphere and they start to spend and rotate. these could produce week tornadoes in the afternoon and evening. one of the key components to creating severe weather would be the amount of center and we get. you heard us talk about this. it seems counter and to read it to sit it if you get more sunshine, it is bad news, -- it seems counter intuitive to say that if you get more sunshine, i guess that is, but that seems to be the case. some of these will rotate and create more tornadoes. the store prediction center thinks that anywhere in the mid- atlantic region, there is at least a slight chance we could see some tornadoes and heavy rain. i don't think large pale will be a big deal this afternoon if we get the storm's going, but these components and the possibility of tornadoes is there.

just because all the ingredients are there does not mean it is going to happen. we just have to say that there is the potential for those storms to fire up late this afternoon. you will want to tune in later on today to get an update from john collins during the 5:00 news. we can already see storms developing through for jenny did this is the direction they are going to come from. if we get to an attic thunderstorms and -- to rnadic thunderstorms, that is where the front is going through the atmosphere. variable clouds, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. of these could be strong or severe. wide range high temperatures -- wide range in temperatures did things will get a lot better. we will start with cause but it will clear as we go into the afternoon. senate looks like a decent day as well. -- sunday looks like a decent day as well.
