organize. -- is organized. -- disorganized. this one is mostly producing very heavy rain and maybe some hail. tim and jane winds are also -- and damaging winds are also possible. there is some irritation associated with it. as the tracks up until pennsylvania, the warning will continue. we are keeping a close eye on the last batch of storms coming through the region. we are under a watch, meaning conditions are favorable until 9:00 p.m. the cold front is getting through deep creek lake. the winds are shifting to the west. a couple of strong cells have made the whether storm issues strong tell -- tornado warnings and watches.

a possible tornado is embedded in those lines of storms near the allegheny. there are also some warnings near the front were real, and virginia. -- near front royal, virginia. that front is active. until it passes, we are hon. for severe thunder -- we are vulnerable for severe storms. you see two distinct areas. the one we are dealing with now is tapering off. the next one picks up has hagerstown. in between, the skies could clear up a little bit, and the weather would come down. that this does mean we are done with the rain just yet. we have to watch closely as the rain comes in. the community -- the computer models indicate the second line of storms will not get to

baltimore until about 9:00 p.m. for the next couple of hours, the first batch will wind down. things will quiet down. an hour later, the second line of storms will roll throu with another round of severe weather. that second line gets here after sunset, which makes it more tolerable as far as severe whether banquo's usually. we will see how that plays out. -- with severe weather. usually we will see how that plays out. the storms are gradually developing near cambridge on the eastern shore. that is tracking north. no tornado on the coast yet. eastern shore locations, keep an eye on the sky. the whether on the western shore will eventually work its way east.

a tornado warning until 7:00 p.m. it is looking mainly like heavy rain and perhaps a bit of flooding. technically, there is still a warning going on. it does not look as severe as it did 30 minutes ago. it looks like a new storm on the north side of d.c. has popped up. this one is on the i-95 corridor. it will bring some very heavy rain from d.c. toward baltimore perhaps into howard county. it is moving north east 25 miles per hour and that jessup. -- aimed at jessup. those are the two main areas that have been hit so far. the storm near cambridge and e aston is showing the weather is

making its way toward the coast. that last line is a couple hours away. we'll keep an eye on the radar screen. >> we were expecting this to happen. it has come to fruition, just like you said it would. >> we have seen that a lot with some of the spring storms in the past year or two. computer models are zeroing in on the elements. >> also, when you talk about a warning, it is our responsibility to let you know because you do not get a lot of warning when a tornado hits. we want you to be safe and take the necessary precautions so in the event it comes to your area that you and your family are safe. >> everyone is prepared. we do our very best. >> the computer models are unbelievable. >> it is incredible.

we will go back out to the 11 newsroom. >> we are required by the federal government to stay on the air if there is a tornado warning. we have had some tweets of people complaining that we are covering this tornado warning. we are starting to get some information from the hartford county area conforming with the county executive said about some buildings being down. east of south of 152, this must have been a tornado or winds. cady in hartford county says several buildings collapsed along route 1. they are not sure. people are trapped, but no injuries. >> there is an e-mail from someone in bel-air, who says it

is raining very heavily with lightning flashes. we have had the silent alarms for tornado warnings. on our facebook page,, lexie says this is a scary storm. there is something else been mentioned -- we have been talking about the people who are commuting. there are a whole lot of people who work in the d.c. area who are stuck because the metro and the subway and the bus system in d.c. is not working very well because of wireless data and trees down. people who are stuck on amtrak on union station are getting, social media. >> maybe we can go back to david williams with mercy management to explain the sirens. >> for now, we will send it back

to you in the studio. >> thank you very much. began word -- we got word of what may be a funnel cloud. no, we do not have that. but we do have someone from carroll county via phone because our live equipment does not work in this weather. nadia, talked about a family whose house was hit by a tree. their house has been condemned. >> this has not been a pretty day for this family. we are on the 1900 block where the storm system has read some damage. -- cause some damage. we noticed some set up branches in some downed trees, some home owners experiences.

for one homeowner, the damage was pretty massive. and 80- to 90-foot tree smashed onto the roof of their home she shared with the pets. the couple was on the other side of the room when this happened. they are ok, but they are distraught to see their home in this condition. right now, water is leaking into the family room, and a building inspector has ruled this home is unlovable. they are making arrangements to find somewhere to stay in the mean time. other neighbors in the area of have had power gone out. we got word that within the hour they have power again, which is good news. back to this family -- a distraught, a tough day for them. during our live shot, one of the neighbors from down the

street came by here and offered to put this family up. just from watching our last session. can you believe that? they even offered to put their dogs up as well. during these situations, it is amazing how people want to come out and help. >> people come together. >> thank you very much for king because informed out there in carroll county. -- for keeping us informed in carroll county. >> there is a bunch of building collapses up here. we are going northbound blair rd. of 152. it is a try and go between 152 and bolero -- clear road. -- blair road.

that whole triangle area has had drastic damage. we are looking for the actual building that has collapsed. i have heard at least five people are injured. i heard that the police are trying to get them to shock trauma as priority one. a local hospital was able to receive some of the injured. number found blair road is a down pit -- northbound blair rd. is shut down. i have seen quite a few houses that have had some damage done to them. there is a lot of debris and mess up here. it is hard to pick out what is what. i do not want to get too low down here because fire crews are still working to try to see if they have anybody that may be injured, but just to give you an

idea, i will have bible pull out wide. -- bob people out why. look at the debris we are saying. we will pull out again, and we will show you a garage where the whole side of the wall has been ripped out. it will be just to the left and right there. that gives you an idea of some of the damage. there is a vehicle that is upside down. that gives you an idea of how bad and how strong the winds were. we are saying larch trees that are snapped like toothpicks up at three large trees that are stacked like toothpicks. fire department crews have a command post here. they are checking out side streets off of route 1 and some of the homes to see if anyone is injured in those locations. we do know at least five people are hurt up in this area.

we are still trying to get more information we just now a ride on scene. we are in the process of scoping this out. do you have questions? >> we are looking at the same pictures. we wonder if that was not a tornado. you said it looks like it should have been. >> can you give us the court that on those roads? >> if you are -- can you give us the coordinates on those roads? take that all the way up to hard for road near the car dealership. it is across the street from the walmart. fire crews are searching areas diligently.

here. you are looking at a lot of the debris. we are still assessing the situation. there is a lot going on. they will be dealing with the red cross to shelter people that have had damage done to their house as well. >> what about flooding? have you seen it? normally we get quite a bit of flooding in our area, but we have not heard of any major flooding? >> we have heard about some flooding at the reservoir area. there was some flooding at towson. other than that, there are some areas like a raging river. we have not seen roadways where cars were inundated with water. we are pretty high appear in the

air. we have not been able to check the valleys yet. it is still a lot going on up here. we are still trying to get you more information. any more questions? >> in a situation like this, priority one patients, on the phone out? >> know they are transported by ground. it is one thing for us to compare with a helicopter. if they get really nasty, we can go home we can land. when you are transforming someone as far as emergency-wis e, that is a different story. it does not do them any good to get up here and find that they cannot make it. there perimeters are a lot different period. >> can you tell if this goes

beyond what you are saying? >> the line appears to be about a half a mile or three-quarters of a mile long at this spot. it appears to be maybe about a 16th of a mile wide. it looks like it popped down, hit some homes, and pop back up again. i have not had the chance to go further north to check it out again. >> we saw what appeared to be a car dealership. some of them were tossed around. how is the car dealership caring? we saw one car blown over. maybe the cars were to pack together so it minimize the wind damage. >> the shed was blown off of its foundation. it was picked up and moved. there is a lot of debris are run

the neighborhoods as far as the back deck. i want to get bobby on this one house. we will point you to the backyard of one house. one house has a lot of damage, and you have houses left and right of it that are fine. the fire department is working around. we see poles tyhhat have been knocked down, and over like toothpicks. it is just created utter chaos and blockage of the roads. hartford county is trying to get the situation under control. maryland state police is a pair. there is a huge task force that is involved with the ongoing events appear. >> it is important to note that the people -- looks like a

goner -- gutter is wrapped around the corner of the house. >> we will give you one more picture. is that a 12:00 position. >> we have some warnings on that. >> look at that. that is what you are going to be dealing with trying to get up here. >> all roads in that area are not possible. they say avoid u.s. one between kingsville and bel air. no traffic is allowed. utilities have been damaged in the area. this whole thing about this particular weather incident. it is near the west grove ave. several buildings have been damaged. u.s. 1, bellaire road, hartford road, you cannot get through.

>> you can see the players -- the flares. we will check back with our chief meteorologist. as we were watching this on boats, we are hearing more sirens going off. >> the bells are going off again. south of us in anne arundel county. the cell out of the d.c. area has prompted the weather service to issue a tornado warning for the extreme a stern -- eastern part of the howard-anne arundel county line area. as well as the number portion of prince george's county. it is also near the laurel county area. it is moving northeast at 27 miles per hour. maybe of toward southern section of baltimore county. it was a favored area for storms

this evening. more heavy rains coming of the i-95 quarter. south of us a new storm has developed in this unstable atmosphere. it may impact baltimore city on the southern and eastern side of the city as it moves up i-95. if you are near the anne arundel county line, take shall turn down. same thing in seven baltimore county. be on the -- in seven baltimore county. take shelter right now. it can go all around -- a while before we hear reports of damage. the storms have damaging winds and they may produce tornadoes. take shelter, and be very careful. >> thank you very much. we are talking about hard for county. skyteam 11 was over hard for
