high rollers and curiosity seekers alike are going all all in. >> thousands of people have been huddled outside of maryland live! at anne arundel mills. >> right now, it is more like a casino chaos. several people are folding and leaving all together. shelvin has an update. >> people out here are very frustrated. there is a big crowd of hundreds of people outside of the entrance. they were actually doing -- actually booing some of the casino employees. i spoke with a spokesman for the casino and said that the casino is not sending people way, but, at times, the casino has reached capacity.

able to give in, they were having fun and enjoying some of those new machines. so far, you can see a little bit of the crowd dispersing outside of the maryland live! casino. some did not want to have to wait in line. some out there were calling the crowd out. disgrace. police have stepped up their patrol. traffic is snarled in and around the exits of anne arundel mills. >> it sounds like quite a scene tonight. in other news tonight, annapolis police are hoping you can help identify a person of interest related to sexual assault. this is surveillance video of the man wanted in connection to the downtown attack on may 19. a 21-year-old woman was walking along the duke of gloucester street around 1:30 a.m. when the suspect grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

>> deftly an area where there might be people that saw more than they realize. we're hoping that, releasing the survey, people might have seen something else and thought they might remember that guy and that kind of thing. >> annapolis authorities are asking anyone with information to call metro crime stoppers at 1-866-7-lockup. >> police are investigating a new crop of violence. again and shot a man in the head around 12:30 p.m. this morning. it happened at the 3600 block of biel avenue. he later died. there is no word on a motive in that case. police were called back to a shooting in east baltimore. detectives have released few details, but the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. there is no word on that person's condition. police are still trying to track down this gunman as well. these shootings are the latest in a recent string of violence

last year. >> a federal judge ruled that a teacher should have been offered a plea deal that would have effectively meant his release. >> people traveled from all over the country for this a vigil tonight. many say that they have been haunted by their former teachers abuse for decades. nearly 200 people carried signs, candles, and heavy hearts outside of the former catholic community middle school in baltimore. many say they were assaulted and traumatized. >> he held a gun to my head in that room. >> from the age of 11, 12 and 13, i was raped so many times. it was too numerous to count. in that school behind those

screens in that storage room, in that classroom. that is where i lost my childhood innocence. >> their vigil is to honor and remember the victims who have passed away and to stand in cellaret -- and solidarity. he was sentenced to four life terms. but a federal judge has since ruled that he had ineffective counsel and should be offered a 10-year plea deal again. an on-line petition drive against his release has more than 1000 names on it. >> he doesn't even deserve to see the light of day. and we hear more stores, not just the people who cannot 19 years ago, but more people today who are telling their stories. this man was a monster. >> never see the light of day, never. i have no doubt that he is a serial child rapist will do this again. my childhood cannot be restored. the childhood of everyone around me tonight cannot be restored. but we can do what we can to protect children today.

state -- if the police superintendent marcus brown is only a part-time maryland resident. >> the dark colored crown victoria is owned by maryland taxpayers big it is the take- home cars assigned to marcus brown. we took these pictures of the car on a moral day, not in the maryland neighborhood, but in camp hill, pa., a suburb of harrisburg. it is one of two places that brown can call home. >> he has a family that lives in pennsylvania. his wife owns a home there. his name is not on that deed. and they have a situation where they both have professional careers. he works in maryland and visits his family regularly. but she has a career in pennsylvania and list their. >> neighbors tell us they see markets from quite a bit because he has young children. but the governor says is a legal resident is in maryland.

it appears that your superintendent lives in two places, maryland and pennsylvania. you ok with that? >> his legal residence is in maryland. he pays taxes in maryland. he votes in maryland. as long as he keeps driving down violent crime and homicide, he can commute to canada on weekends for all i care. >> taxpayers foot most of the bill for his commuting between the two states. brown pays for the gas when he goes to capitol, but the cost of wear and tear and the interest is billed to the taxpayers. had you asked him to move into maryland full time? with your agree recrafting of that assertion.

he is a legal resident of maryland. >> he is a close ally of the governor. in 2007, brown sparked controversy with his pension deal from the city police department. even though he left the department without the required years of service, he got a full pension arguing that he got laid off. in fact, he left the department for state job one brown became governor. brown's wife gets a credit on his camp hill home in pennsylvania, but the baltimore home also gets the tax credit could that allows them a $3,700 break on the city tax bill. >> if he shouldn't have a homestead tax exemption in one home or the other, that is another issue. the question you asked is whether he fulfills the legal requirement of being a resident of maryland.
