another race for the country's most famous horse. the thoroughbred was supposed to be in the belmont stakes. another look at the odds on favorite to be come the first triple crown favorite in 34 years. >> on the eve of one of the greatest races, the handler made a critical decision to end its career. we have coverage of the abrupt exit. she spoke to the veterinarian that treated the horse, but we will begin with the sports director, the only local reporter witwhere the stunning decision was made. >> he hoped to have a press conference tomorrow afternoon. the media arrived 25 hours early today on the news that i'll have another would not run in the belmont. >> it was unanimous between my brother and die.

district court while awaiting a bail review hearing. investigators say the identified prisoner was in the custody of a private security company when he took off. this man has a history of misdemeanors and a felony theft conviction. he is a white man that was the last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. no charges will be filed in the case of attack and robbery at the downtown 711 by groups of teenagers despite the fact that the assault last month was caught on to surveillance cameras. prosecutors say that they have decided criminal charges are not appropriate. they apparently became unruly during a freeze for the promotion. -- free slurpee promotion. clerks say that the teams stole a deposit worth $6,000. police say an attack happened
