it is in the 70's to start the day. we will make it into the low 80's. picking a suit like rain south of baltimore city and it comes to the annapolis area and stretching back into howard county. it is moving north. up into a harford county. rain showers in the morning and maybe if you thunderstorms producing some locally heavy rain this afternoon. it will be off and on. high temperature of 82. you'll feel the humidity. we will check the seven-day forecast going all the way into the weekend. >> good morning. one problem north on 95 in howard county near 175, word of an accident. no problems in the southbound direction. 295, is a new interchange at

arundel mills boulevard. that is now open. everything is flowing smoothly in that area. a nice ride on 95 past 175. five minutes on southbound 95 to the fort mchenry. this is a look get the fort mchenry. 95 running smoothly out of the toll plaza. this is the beltway and harford road. traffic moving without delay and continues on the west side. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> fire investigators expected to return to the scene of a warehouse fire in wells polite. >> the fire began on monday afternoon. kim dacey is live on the scene this morning with the latest developments.

>> this blaze burned for about nine hours yesterday. luckily the building was vacant. the facade looks ok but all the windows are broken out. it is hollow shell inside. neighbors say this building is a former grocery store. dense smoke filled fells point. it escalated to a five-alarm blaze. neighboring businesses were evacuated. the race to contain the flames. the roof collapsed, forcing them to focus on every outside and but they could attack. two firefighters suffered minor injuries. residents have never seen anything like this. >> i have never seen anything with quite this force behind it.

these firefighters look like they -- it just came rolling back with a huge vengeance. >> city fire investigators will be back out at the scene to determine what started the fire. the b.g.e. website is reporting more than 100 people still without power. broadway street has just opened up in the last few minutes. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> two men recovering in hospital following a late night car accident. a man from out what stock was driving on baltimore national pike when it tried to turn left on marriottsville road. he hit a police vehicle. both men were taken to the hospital. this time next year you could be paying more for bottled drinks in baltimore city.

preliminary approval was given to the increase on monday night. the tax applies to water and soda. supporters believe raising the tax is the best way to fund school construction in the city. >> with all the burden of taxes that the citizens face right now, and the impact that this has on business in a depressed economy, and that the tax is paid by the distributor, it is the consumer that ultimately pays the price so that people can object if they wish. >> the council will take a final vote next week. >> jerry sandusky returns to court this morning for day two of this trial.

a lookout this trial is unfolding. >> former defensive coordinator jerry sandusky back in court on tuesday expending a day accused him. he's been identified as victim four. he said sandusky initiate physical contact with them. it soon escalated to something much more sinister, lasting for nearly five years. the wood is described sandusky in public acting like a father. the alleged victim said he did not come forward because he said he was embarrassed. he grew a emotional during the defense questioning. >> he regretted not coming forward because he felt guilty

home where they thought the suspect in the all burned shootings was hiding. the house was surrounded on a monday afternoon. they believe the man wanted in the weekend shootings was inside but earlier this morning a photographer sought agents leave without saying why. sentencing scheduled in boston today for a woman who spent more than 16 years on the run with her boyfriend. she admitted to hiding him. she will not have to testify at his trial as a condition of her plea deal. >> a special election will be held today to replace gabrielle giffords. she has campaigned for former aide to fill their seat. he faces a republican who lost

minutes and then into towson and harford county. just about everybody will get in on the rain this morning. we have a little bit of good news in a certain respect. you can see some heavier rain in pennsylvania then a kind of breaks off as we go into the carolinas. these storms are robbing the moisture flow from the gulf up into our neighborhood. it gets cut off from loss. i do not think we will see as heavy 8 rain as we potentially could. they are doing us a favor. we still will get some rain today. it will be difficult for the temperatures to move much. you'll feel the humidity. the temperatures are still in the 70's. 69 and parkton.

heavy black smoke. >> a warehouse on broadway caught fire around 2:00. it escalated to 85-alarm blaze. longtime residents say they did not recall ever experienced a fire this incense. >> i have never seen anything with quite this force behind it. and i saw these firefighters. they look like they beat it down to white smoke. and then of a the sudden it just came rolling back with a huge vengeance. >> around 130 firefighters converged on the scene in the 90-degree heat. two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. >> they were really working. >> firefighters evacuated neighboring businesses as they successfully raced to contain the flames. the warehouse roof collapse. >> we have the water pipes and large hoses in place to try to

overturned. the pilot was not injured. >> four people have recovered after an accident with an mta bus. a child was riding a bicycle and ran into the bus. the child and a bicycle were not hurt. people on the bus did complained of some kind of injury. a woman's body was found over the weekend. that woman is janell balogun. a bicyclist was running through on sunday morning when the body was spotted. >> we do not have any suspects at this point. we would like to hear from anybody who saw or heard anything unusual in this area along frederick road. >> anyone with any information
