majestic tall ships and naval vessels are docked for the start of sailabration, the launch of the celebration for the bicentennial of the war of 1812. baltimore county police are searching for the killer of a man found dead in his car. >> 22-year-old miguel bailey's body was found at lake apartment complex. devastated family and friends say bailey was a well-liked college student. kai reed is live in baltimore county. but investigators say miguel bailey was killed just a short time before that down his folly -- before they found his body in his running car. family friends say he was a talented musician with a great future. >> whether he was mowing the lawn, playing basketball, are playing music, both family and

friends and neighbors say he did it all with a huge smile on his face. >> it was just a shock to us. it is heartbreaking. >> around 630 it is -- around 6:30 tuesday night, police received a report of a man sleeping in his car. instead, they found 22-year-old bailey murder. the victim was not sleeping, but had been shot multiple times in the torso. paramedic's declared him dead at the scene. the motor was still running. there was blood visible in the car. >> valley family members say they don't know what he was doing at the apartment complex. he was in his chevy in palla -- family members do not know what he was doing at the apartment complex. he worked two jobs and was teaching classes at a local community college when he was murdered. >> most of the young guys in

this neighborhood, you find them working two jobs to get what they want to get. >> it is just that, because you really don't know what happened. you try not to speculate. he is going to be missed. >> investigators don't have any suspects or a possible motive. anyone with information is urged to call baltimore county police. kai reed, wbal-tv 11 news. >> julius henson will spend the next two months in jail for his role in those illegal robocalls during the 2010 general election. a judge sentenced him to one year in jail with all but 50 days suspended. the jury convicted him last month of conspiring to suppress the african-american vote. julius henson told a judge he believes he was singled out

because he worked for a republican in a state ruled by democrats. >> it was almost the implication that he would do it again. i think that is what the court was facing and that is why they made a strong sense in this matter. >> he was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service and serve three years' probation. >> a man robbed at a local convenience store. investigators said the incident happened last tuesday afternoon just before 4:00 on reisterstown road. a man brandished a gun at the man inside the store before robert him. police are asking anyone who can identify this person to give them a call. >> the summer is now in effect for thousands of baltimore their heads. the city curfew center on north avenue is open.

harbor, the cisne branco from that brazilian navy. shelton dutes join the crew when they kicked off from harvard innorfolk. they fired a 21 cannon salute at fort mchenry. in all, 41 tall ships and naval vessels are participating in sailabration. starting thursday, visitors will be able to see them up close. >> they will all be open to the public for free, starting tomorrow from 11:00 to 5:00. correct reading speed that up to 180 miles an hour. ava marie got into the act, flying with their real blue angels, even flying upside down.

campaign contributions from to wealthy donors, allegedly used to hide his pregnant mistress, rielle hunter. >> another fast-moving day of testimony at the jerry sandusky sex abuse trial. >> three marketers took the witness stand today to say they, too, were abused by penn state football coach jerry sandusky. it is an attempt by the state to establish a pattern of behavior. one testified he was just 10 years old. and cross-examination, he admitted he told a grand jury he had not been touched or fondled. explained he had blocked out the incident but with the help of counseling, now remember. the other young men said sandusky initiated a physical relationship with a touch.

if every victim has testified has said the contact at the beginning with sandusky was touching a leg or arm. that thread runs through all the victims. >> two other young men told similar stories. one wept as he described how sandusky the event of him in a sauna. the other said sandusky threatens him when he rebuffed the older man. the court also heard from a janitor who said a co-worker, now incapacitated and unable to testify, told him he saw sandusky engage with a sex act with the boys in the shower. at the end of the day, the jury heard from sandusky himself in this interview with bob costas which aired shortly after the scandal broke. >> completely innocent and falsely accused and every aspect? >> well, i could say that i have done some of those things. i have a horse around with kids.

finished by next summer pre >> reeling from the baltimore county school board one month after we touched on the topic of school discipline and ask why so many young people are being suspended from maryland schools. this week the baltimore county school board voted to end at zero tolerance approach to punishment and replace it with a policy giving principal force of the bill of deciding how to handle serious offenses. the county has one of the highest suspension rates in the state. the new policy is designed to reduce the number of terms kittens are sent home from school for minor infractions. >> maryland's highest court has decided that over will have a hard to dig the final say on the controversial dream act -- that voters will have the final say on the controversy old dream act. a judgment by the anne arundel county circuit court ruled that the law had nothing to do with spending and could be put on the

we had enough sun filtered through those high cloud and the temperature was up to 80 at the airport, 83 at the inner harbor, which is normal for this time of year. right now in the urban area, the yellow indicates temperatures still in the 7's, but as you get away from the city, it turns green. those are the temperatures that have brought down into the mid- '60s's and will continue to drop this evening. unplowed from the east are drifting west of the bay now. that will be the case overnight tonight into tomorrow. the pressure offshore is causing a more northeasterly to northerly wind and some moisture of the ocean is coming in. on the eastern shore -- this eventually directed at the -- eventually drift to the south and high pressure will become the dominant whether feature as we go through the weekend.
