better. we're starting out cloudy this morning. the east of the bay, they have a better shot at seeing the cloud cover. we'll be under partly sunny skies and temperatures around 80 degrees. 67 degrees right now with low humidity. that will build because of some of the moisture coming off the atlantic ocean. for a check of the roads, here is sarah. >> great to see you. we have a problem in jarrettsville at furnace road. watch for an accident. the harrisburg expressway is in pretty good shape. there is an overnight accident that is now clear. we have some closures on 97 and the northbound direction near route 32. this was a serious accident. one person was ejected.

it was a head-on collision. now everything has been cleared. that is the update. oak avenue in annapolis, there is an accident. bay bridge traffic looks pretty good east and westbound. the topside of the beltway is problem free at the moment. 83 at timonium road, southbound traffic down towards the beltway, a nice start all the way down to the beltway. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> one person is recovering after being attacked by a baseball bat. this happened just for 1:00 this morning. a person had been beaten with a baseball bat. emergency crews responded to the scene.

a person is dead in randallstown. police say at some point a suspect sustained and none known injury. the suspect later died. >> baltimore county police are searching for a killer after finding a man murdered in his own car in overlea. this happened on tuesday night. investigators say he was shot several times in the abdomen. friends describe him as it well- liked individual. >> i have never known him to be in trouble. he worked hard. they're young guys in the young never read -- he was working two jobs. >> police are asking anyone with

information to give them a call. >> summer break begins the day for baltimore city students. the opening of a new curfew center. jennifer franciotti is live with the details on the center. >> the idea is to get young people off the streets after hours. it will be located on north avenue at the success center. it will start to be open on friday and will run through august 11. it will be open on friday and saturday's, a way to get young people off their streets. last year about 750 juveniles came through the curfew center with an average of about 39. >> we expect parents to enforce a curfew all year long. in the summertime, kids are risk

70 right now downtown. 67 at the airport. ocean city, 66 degrees. oakland, 48 degrees. they will warm up to the low 70's later today. it should be a good day. morning clouds will be giving away to partly cloudy skies. 75 to 80 degrees. this is the system in the atlantic and it is throwing out this cloud cover. a little bit of moisture in the upper levels because of the northeasterly wind. portions east of the bay will see cloudy conditions longer today. i think we will be pretty good today. this will move out of here later today. high pressure city over pennsylvania right now. that will be with us over the next five to seven days, which will give us great weather.

obama or mitt romney? >> tara mergener is live with this report. good morning. >> hello. president obama and mitt romney are gearing up for these duel economic speeches minutes apart in the crucial swing state of ohio. the president's first major economic speech will happen at a community college in cleveland where he is expected to defend his handling of the economy and telling voters he feels their pain and for them to stick with him for another term. mitt romney will make a campaign stop in cincinnati. he will tell a divided public how he would leave the economy, including his prairies for the first 100 days in office. the speeches fall a month of bad economic news including a spike

to tell you what to do. >> the mayor flanked by police and officials opened the city's curfew center which is located at the success academy of north avenue. she said the center will be opened until august 11 on fridays and saturdays from 12:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. this is a way to get young people off the street and hold their parents accountable. >> we expect parents to enforce the curfew all year long. but in the summertime, kids are at risk of being more vulnerable and it is important for us to work in collaboration. >> last year police say about 750 juvenile skim through the curfew center. john skinner said the center helps get kids off the street. >> no doubt that the number of kids that are out on the street at nighttime decreases dramatically. >> kids and their parents love access to counseling.
