[captioning made possible by constellation energy group] captioned by the national captioning institute --www.ncicap.org-- >> good evening, everyone. it has been a day of celebration centering around the star spangled celebration. crowds of people came today to commemorate the war of 1812 and the commemoration of our national anthem. >> three businesses had something different to say. >> from airshows to all of these beautiful tall ships, thousands of people have been flocking to downtown baltimore for all of the celebration of fence. -- celebration events.

they are waiting to do an economic impact festival. this is already helping downtown businesses. >> the numbers are tripled. we use this as a celebration. we have been selling out of food. >> they are serving up a few more pieces than expected. even though they said they have not seen any dramatic increase in business, it is still better than the grand spree weekend. >> the track and to the inner harbor, we kind of got cut off. it was a little slower than normal. >> this is located less than a mile from fort mchenry. >> we have not gotten too much business from it. a lot of our customers are afraid they could not find parking when they came down. we picked up if you people.

house. just have a plan, there are plenty of public transportation options. >> for more information about what is going on, how to get around, head to our website. the celebration has provided the first for the area, the first time that baltimore has hosted an air show. if you did not get a chance to see it, you missed something. >> since 1946, the blue angels have delivered to some 11 million spectators. this was baltimore's turn. a big highlight of the celebration at fort mchenry. this shot says so much of the famous f-18 hornets zipping by your head. it just amazing how this piece of machinery can roll and flip

and even fly upside down. many people can just to see it at the airport. it attracted nearly 5000 spectators. more than anticipated. >> do not expecting that many people but the crowd obviously enjoyed it. >> the blue angels to cool tricks in the air. >> visitors got a chance to board one of the aircraft and chat the pilots. >> the kids, they got to see this. this was really awesome. >> awesome had to be the word used over and over again because isn't it really just that? >> it really is. the blue angels will perform again tomorrow, same time. you can see them up close again.

today, as we mentioned, a lot of sun, based few scattered clouds. that kind of racket, the normal, 83. 55 and 68. the same reading on the boardwalk in ocean city. 63 come apart in. westminster, 68. just beginning to drop into the 50's already out in oakland where it is 59 degrees right now. some clouds of trust and more of them out in western maryland. then it becomes partially overcast until we get to those big storms. so, with the stream of warm air that is coming off on the west side of this ridge of high pressure. this is giving us the ideal weather conditions. on the west side of that, the southerly flows, it is warm and

humid and helping to trigger these storms. it is the contrast in these air masses that is producing at stormy weather out there. eventually that does drift east. scattered clouds tonight. cool, 55-64 below. during the day tomorrow, we might see a few more clouds. the sun will still be more or less the dominant feature. upper 70's cost to around 80, the southeast winds at 2-7 miles per hour. and 1 foot chop, the bay water temperatures in the mid 70's. here is the future cat -- future cast. we are dry, watch the time line. these are hung up in the mountains. we are still kind of dry but we're starting to pick up some clouds. overnight sunday into monday, rain chances creep up.

this is a cold front coming in but it is a weak one. it does not look like this will be nasty rainfall or anything like that. monday morning into monday afternoon, we could see some scattered showers and the storm activity. sunday's forecast calls for a variable cloudy sky. 73, the high. it's like the rain will miss ocean city on monday. something coming up, summer begins officially based on the stars and all of that, wednesday. remember, this summer has not really started yet. father state of course is tomorrow. 78 for the high with more clouds coming in and still a very nice day. a few scattered storms, thundershowers. monday, 77 the high. then we turn up the heat, then some starts wednesday. then, 95 with thunderstorms late

i was thinking about it pretty much from the get go. to give up a hit, you are always thinking about it. it is a great game. it is a pretty good pitch. >> back in his prime when tiger woods had his share of the lead, the tournament was all but over. he is 36, not 26 anymore. he is vulnerable to a bad round. he was awful from start to finish in the first hole and in the third hole. here he is missing another par putt. just like that he went from -12 + one. one of the best turned in by ernie, he won this twice before. look at this on the 17th hole. he finished it two over with just three shots back. jim, one of the cult leaders to start the day fighting to stay at the top. down a shot on 17 that he is able to sink this birdie.

he is tied for the lead. it never got better for tiger. look at what happens on the 18th in the rough. that is how i would do but not tiger. another bogey to finish at plus 4. look at this, he hits his head against a camera. that did not feel good. check him out, the leader board, gramm mcdowell, jim, tied for the lead. tiger woods was four over par. the rockies play in detroit. this is always nice to see. a guy proposing to his girlfriend. not really that unusual, but this is. this guy lines a foul ball and look who catches it, it is the guy he proposed to his girlfriend. what a night for him.
