we are joined live with the latest. >> if it were not bad enough, it all happened just hours after his daughter's wedding. her wedding memories will forever be clubbed by the death of her father. >> my father lost his life i am not going to see him any more until i leave this world. >> they found his body and this home. one woman says her husband had just getting home from the hospital. >> all of a sudden, that is always saw. it was burning. >> three people got out safely. a family friend was injured while trying to save her father. that woman was taken to bayview. the family says several pets

died in the blaze. they are grateful that this dog survived. firefighters did not find any smoke alarms and the home. the family says he saved their lives. >> he woke us all up. we all came to the living room. we just made it out side alive. >> he barked when we did not have any smoke detectors. when the landlord refused to put them in. >> as the family tries to salvage what they can, he is grateful -- she is grateful she found her father's cross. >> it is father's day. tell your dad, tell your mom that you love them. >> he may have died from burns and smoke inhalation. an autopsy will confirm the

the man fired shots at them from inside the home. one police officer was injured. he is a police officer in clifton, new jersey. the home reportedly belongs to his estranged wife. jerry sandusky reported for a psychiatric exam. he is on trial, accused of sexually abusing 10 boys. the judge granted a motion to prevent evidence that he suffers from a personality disorder. it is why he went to the attorney general's office today. some of the system -- symptoms include believe in relationships and more intimate than they are and a constant need for approval.
