the council signal their intentions to go against her proposed budget. they did agree on raising the bottle tax. the council approved a measure to sell advertising space on the side of fire trucks. pete wilson believes the ads will be enough -- will bring in enough money to prevent three companies from closing. councilmembers' made clear they are willing to -- to safeguard the fire companies, they voted to vote over $5 million from the mayor's proposed budget including police department funding. >> that is not acceptable. you do not say congratulations you have done a good job and recommend cutting the budget does not make common sense. i'm not gone to jeopardize the safety of our city. >> these budget negotiations between the mayor and the city

uld take the stand today in his sex abuse trial. it was not uncommon for coaches to shower with children. sandusky is accused of abusing 10 boys. jury deliberations could begin as early as thursday. a new jersey man could be released today. his roommate committed suicide after streamed video of them kissing went on line. prosecutors are asking for a longer sentence. >> roger clemens has been found not guilty for lying to congress. charges stem from the testimony

southbound portion from 175, no sign of delays. we will see some delays closer to 50. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> it seems baltimore's mayor and city council are at odds over the city budget. >> not everybody is on the same page. kim dacey is live with the details. the council made a big statements. >> the council took eight rare stand against the mayor signaling its intention to go against her proposed budget. the mayor and council to agree on the city bottle tax. they raise the tax rate from 2 cents to 5 cents on every bottle sold in the city. city council approved a bill to sell ads based on this side of fire trucks.

pete welsh believes that will bring in enough money to prevent three fire companies from closing. >> i hope it is a big arsenal budget that keeps this open. >> he said they will decide how the rolling billboards will look. the mayor is not as confident that the ads will bring in enough cash to save the fire companies. think it will be enough. we try to find our priorities. >> the mayors parties do not match up with city councils. they are willing to attack her funding parties if they attack occurs. fire companies and voted to cut over $5 million from the mayor's proposed budget including police department funding. >> that is not acceptable. you do not say, "congratulations, you have done a good job" and then recommend cutting the budget just doesn't make common sense. so, i'm not going to jeopardize the safety of our city.
