northbound direction. the j.f.x. from the beltway, no problems to report down to 28. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> it appears the idea of expanding gambling in maryland is done for the rest of this year. >> the commission has failed to reach an agreement on the issue. jennifer franciotti is live with the details. >> the special commission was appointed by the governor made up of lawmakers and advisers. the governor is in support of a sixth casino and says he's frustrated that the group was unable to reach a decision on the issue. it was proposed as a world- class casino at the national harbor in prince george's county. not just a casino, but rather a destination. a 13-acre facility with 4,000 slots and 250 table games. but now a sixth casino in maryland seems unlikely, at least at this juncture. the governor was hoping for a consensus, then a special session, and then a referendum that would allow the voters to decide.

we have some good news. we had several accidents and they have been cleared including the one at route 32. everything's looking good on most of the major roadways. a bit of a northbound delay on the j.f.x., 34 miles per hour trolly up towards coldspring -- traveling up towards coldspring. the right lane is shut down and the northbound direction on 895 towards the steel bridge. here's a quick live look at traffic. an update on 895 at the construction zone. everything flowing smoothly past the right lane closure. the north side at dulaney valley. sunshine coming out. a nice start even though the volume is picking up in the outer loop as you make your way towards the west side. no delays to report yet. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11.

>> welcome back to 11 news today. in the headlines this morning, a 43-year-old man is in critical condition after a scooter crashed into a house on capitol hill. he was riding a scooter when he crossed jackson street, lost control and struck a curb and was hurtled into the house at 7:00 last night. the victim is still unconscious at this hour after suffering a severe head injury and brokenly. the search continues for a man who shot a teenager in the head. a marysville man found him at tuesday night. the boy was elected to shock trauma where he is in critical, but stable condition. police say they are looking for
