ruling and determine whether congress is in its rights to determine all americans to have insurance. hallie jackson has the latest. >> will have big -- whenever the court decides will have big implications. the supreme court justices are looking at four different issues. the key will be on the individual mandate, which requires all americans to have health insurance or pay a fine. >> what we find is that millions of americans have already benefited from the elements of this historic reform. >> republicans have been gunning for what they call obamacare ever since it was passed. >> not only is the health care law not working, it makes

times. he was taken to johns hopkins but he did not survive. black lexus was seen leaving the scene. the maryland man has lost his life in afghanistan. eugene mills was killed over the weekend, the fifth maryland to be killed this year while serving in the line of duty. firefighters have a brush fire under control. the fire began on sunday morning and continue to build during the day. no homes were damaged but a firefighter was taken to the hospital. they expect the fire to be fully extinguished later today. >> a car traveling northbound

on route 97 crossed a double line and struck a car. the pastor of the second car later died -- the passenger of the second car later died. at least two victims were thrown from a vehicle. police are not sure how many vehicles were involved or if speed played a factor. >> an army private hopes to bolster his defense. attorneys last the government for a report assessing the damage of the alleged leak of classified documents. he'll ask a judge to postpone his trial date.

>> the majority of malodors approve expanded gambling in the state -- the majority of marylanders approved expanded gambling in the state. kim dacey has more. >> not only do voters want to approve this, but they want to vote on it in november. the debate of a new casino in prince george's county is still concerning because a select panel could not reach a consensus. -- is still uncertain. maryland voters want elected voters to resolve the matter soon. 55% of maryland voters would support the plan that was proposed by the governor's work group to expand gaming. 36% oppose the plan. 58% of voters said state leaders need to work harder to find a compromise. 35% say the decision was a good thing. >> it is all good as long as they are now promoting people to spend what they do not have.

a few thin clouds in the sky. 75 degrees downtown at the maryland it science center. it will be cooling off into the seven-day forecast. i am live in towson this morning. we're talking about the farmer's market. i'm here with cindy and you're a farmer in southern pennsylvania. you brought a lot of great items straight from your farm. >> i have lettuce. we're coming into the summer season with sweet corn, lots of nice baby squash, blueberries, green beans, cucumbers, potatoes.

it already delivered a stern warning of what is to come. the surf already pouring over roads. forecast models are not clear about when debby could make landfall. the storm has the potential to be a category one hurricane when it does strike. fema is urging residents to make sure they are ready. >> get water, batteries, flashlights, canned food, maybe. >> the system has spawned several tornadoes. it is been blamed for at least one death in southwest florida. roofs have been ripped off homes. this could be an early preview of what debby has in store for the gulf coast. some are worried this could be a rough hurricane season. debby is already the fourth named storm this year.
