the mayor and city comptroller are still feuding over more than half a million dollars in money. >> the comptroller wants an independent investigation into the matter. kim dacey has the lighatetst. >> the mayor and joan pratt are locked in an ugly battle over how to spend it city money. pratt may ask for an independent investigation, costing $650,000 in taxpayer money. yesterday she said the solicitor made a mistake by approving the purchase of these pricey videophones. instead of going to the public bidding process. the solicitor stretch the definition of computer in his findings. >> mr. nelson in his opinion circumvented the -- violated the

residents are back home after a brush fire forces an evacuation. the fire started either saturday night or early sunday morning on kent island and came within 50 feet of some homes. officials suspect lightning or carelessness with fireworks could have started the fire. >> a mother is demanding answers after the death of her son. christopher brown died earlier this month. police argue they are still investigating. >> i feel like an arrest needs to be made. you have enough evidence going in that direction. you have enough evidence to say he was asphyxiated by the hands of the officer. any other investigation can
