the treatment plant has been running on generator power. use water only for the essential services. use water wisely so water tanks can refill. >> it takes a lot of energy and a lot of work for the pumps at the filtration plants to produce massive quantities of water. >> even if the power is restored, conserve. if you're thinking about getting a generator, be careful. two people got sick because of the fumes of generators. only use them outside and keep them as far away from the house as possible.

we have the storms that have been stacked up. this is wreaking havoc on the region. >> last august we had a major storm and its ticket logger time. "why couldn't we have been prepared?" this was unforeseeable. >> every single utility that got hammered by the storm had no advance notice. the first time we had an inkling was about 10:00 on friday night. the storms usually dissipate over the mountains. we'll be into the weekend for the restoration. >> give us the phone number and how accurate is the time line. >> we're not going to be putting out individual time frames.
